In his fourth season in the NFL, he’s found his stride in Carolina under head coach Dave Canales. With the news about Jonathon Brooks released on Monday, Hubbard’s fantasy relevance remains strong.

Chuba Hubbard: Panthers Running Back Dynasty Outlook

Current Performance

Hubbard is currently the RB11 in standard leagues and RB12 in PPR leagues. When you look at fantasy points per game, he drops to the RB16 in standard and RB15 in PPR. Those numbers have him ahead of guys like Jonathan Taylor and Travis Etienne. Regardless of how you look at it, he’s a solid RB2 for fantasy managers in all formats.

Hubbard showed his worth and earned a contract extension that now looks like a steal with Brooks being sidelined for another year. He surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career and has a career-high of eight touchdowns. However, his biggest downfall this year is fumbles as he’s lost it four times already (three were recovered by opponents).

He has produced seven games this season with 70+ rushing yards and has six top 10 finishes among running backs. As the Panthers offense develops, his production will increase even more.

Chuba Hubbard Dynasty Price

Hubbard’s price is increasing now that he is the Panthers’ RB1 for another season. It’s already reflected on Fantasytradecalc with what it may cost to acquire him.

Zero records exist of trades for him prior to Monday’s release about Brooks. Since then, 50 trades involve Hubbard. Some owners bought low for as little as a one-for-one swap of Hubbard for Xavier Worthy. Others didn’t get so lucky and had to cough up a first-round pick and more.

What to do With Chuba Hubbard in Dynasty Leagues

The short answer on what to do with Hubbard is simple: keep him. However, there are still those who are unsure of what to expect next year in Carolina. Will the offensive line be addressed? Will Bryce Young get new receivers and start throwing the ball more? Can Hubbard mantain this level of play?

As a result, below is going to break things down for those who are risk averse and those who are risk seekers.

Risk-Averse Managers

Risk-averse managers are going to be paranoid about all of the questions above and then some. They’ll be trading Hubbard if they haven’t already even with the news. While they will aim for as much of a return as possible, they may settle for less just to get rid of him. Risk-averse managers would much rather have a player they know is more of a “sure thing” or be more willing to gamble on a rookie.

Risk-Seeking Managers

Risk-seeking managers are all over trying to acquire Hubbard. They believe in him and the Panthers organization to right the ship. Dave Canales has said many times before he wants to run the football, and that will be the belief that pushes the aggression. Risk-seeking managers will have no problem paying a king’s ransom even if it means they lose a first round pick. They know Hubbard can help them win next year, and that’s all that matters.

Main Photo Courtesy of Bill Streicher – Imagn Images

Chuba Hubbard has stepped up this season with the Carolina Panthers, and his dynasty outlook is positive for at least one more season.

[59,32631
7995,32545,7661
post-204066","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","category-dynasty","tag-chuba-hubbard","tag-fantasy-football-2024","tag-panthers-featured
["GET
