The major recruiting sites ranked him a three-to-four-star prospect and a Top-500 recruit overall. Bech played a big role in the Tigers’ offense in his freshman year, snagging 43 passes for 489 yards and three scores. His role diminished heavily the following season, however, as he was only able to catch 16 balls for 200 yards and a touchdown.

Bech entered the transfer portal that offseason and ended up with TCU a few months later. An injury limited his first season with the Horned Frogs, and he only racked up 12 receptions for 146 yards. His senior campaign dwarfs all of his previous seasons, and he absolutely took off. He exploded for 62 grabs, 1,034 receiving yards, and nine TDs en route to All-Big 12 recognition.

Accolades:

Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Semifinalist (2024)

Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist (2024)

Senior Bowl Midseason All-American (2024)

Second Team All-Big 12 (2024)

Strengths/Pros:

Bech has an intriguing blend of above-average size, footwork, and smooth movement skills, allowing him to work defenses at all levels. His feet are sharp on quick-opening releases, generating space early and flipping his hips to get the ball. He sinks well on inside cuts and moves in a singular motion, maintaining and creating extra momentum. He works into his hips well on double moves and he carries the whip momentum into downfield streaks. He’ll constantly alter his route stems when diagnosing different coverages, manipulating defensive weaknesses to maximize open space.

He’s incredibly knowledgeable with his hands, cheating with his chest to secure catches and extending to make tough grabs, depending on the situation. Bech sees the ball in well and makes nifty post-catch adjustments to avoid closing defenders. He’s a fluid ball carrier and is deceptively flexible with good body control. He fights through tackles after the catch and can take bigger hits when moving downfield. His blocking skills are NFL-level, using his size to stick defenders and he redirects DBs on screens.

Weaknesses/Cons:

Bech’s release has a slight hitch backward, limiting some of his momentum off the line. His speed is good but not great, especially vertically. It won’t make him that dangerous of a stretch-the-field threat against faster NFL defenses. He needs to work into more space on hitches and curls, often leaving extra room open in zone and not capitalizing on it. His timing is off at times when extending at the catch point, leaving him vulnerable to big hits and picks/PBUs.

Despite his size, Bech does have some inconsistencies against physical coverage. He gets some of his routes blown up with delayed physicality from DBs and can struggle to work through it. He has to utilize his hands more on downfield releases, relying on his footwork too much to create early separation. His aggressiveness can be lacking in the blocking game, sometimes needing to be more active in attacking assignments.

Potential Team Fits:

Tennessee Titans

Cincinnati Bengals

Las Vegas Raiders

NFL Projection:

While the two shouldn’t be comparable in their current states, Bech has similar prospect traits to Puka Nacua out of BYU. His ceiling is obviously lower than Nacua’s, but he has all the tools to be a valuable WR2/3 in the NFL. He creates separation early and often, with the ballcarrier skills to excel in a high-level offense. Bech has the size, physicality, and fluidity to be a consistent high-producing factor at the next level.

Prospect Grade:

Early 3rd Round

Film Exposures:

2024 vs. UCF

2024 vs. Stanford

2024 vs. Arizona

Main Image: Andrew Dieb – USA Today Sports

Overview And Film Analysis Of 2025 NFL Draft Prospect And TCU WR Jack Bech, A Well-Sized And Fluid Wideout.

[1647
32605,33053,27083,33054,33055
post-203729","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-draft","tag-2025-nfl-draft","tag-jack-bech","tag-scouting-report","tag-tcu-football","tag-tcu-horned-frogs
["GET
