A consensus top-15 prospect in the state, Membou committed to the Tigers in the fall of 2021 and enrolled early the following year. He appeared in 11 games during his true freshman season and played his way into starting the team’s last five contests. He rose to a full-time starter by the start of the 2023 season and was excellent.

Starting all 13 games as the team’s full-time right tackle, Membou was a part of one of the top offensive lines in the nation. He came into 2024 as a true junior and one of the team’s offensive leaders. He’s a bulldozer once he gets working downfield and showcases an elite combination of power and efficiency when leading the pack. He’s a heat-seeking missile once he’s in open space and does a fantastic job of locking onto a defender. He has decent enough length to succeed in the NFL. To make up for some size concerns, he does a nice job of preventing defenders from getting too close to him and driving him backward. He’s held his own on both sides of the line at Missouri, alluding to good positional versatility when needed.

His kickback gains good ground, and he centers himself well off the edge after the snap. His arms are strong enough to save him when he gets beat outside. Membou is a functional run blocker across the board and is rarely a net negative on run plays. His recovery after allowing an initial push is quick, and he can reset swiftly on an island to prevent sacks. He adapts to moves on the fly and has the technical abilities to match.

Weaknesses/Cons:

It’s not necessarily his weakness, but Membou is undersized for a tackle and could be limited to an interior lineman in the NFL. He loses his anchor too much when going against faster EDGEs and gives up the outside far too often. Smarter rushers take advantage of this, and he becomes more susceptible to multi-step moves as the game progresses.

He wants to get to his sweet spot as soon as possible, which leads to him drifting downfield prematurely. Membou tries to move too fast horizontally on outside runs and will get displaced and/or blown by. His hand strikes need to be more violent and precise, leaving room open for rushers to rotate off of him. He also tends to drive to the interior, which makes it harder for him to adjust to stunts.

Potential Team Fits:

Miami Dolphins

New England Patriots

Chicago Bears

NFL Projection:

Membou might have to kick inside in the NFL to maximize his potential, but he can be an effective starter anywhere on the OL. He could become a dangerous lineman if he enters a system that prioritizes pulling linemen and misdirection run plays. His all-around skills as a run blocker can make him an adequate player from day one, and he has the foundation and projectability to develop into a valuable player.

Prospect Grade:

Late 2nd Round

Film Exposures:

2024 vs. Texas A&M

2024 vs. South Carolina

2024 vs. Georgia

Main Image: Eric Canha – USA Today Sports

Overview And Film Analysis Of 2025 NFL Draft Prospect And Missouri OL Armand Membou, The Tigers’ Sturdy Tackle.

[1647
32605,32977,33005,33006,27083
post-201795","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-draft","tag-2025-nfl-draft","tag-armand-membou","tag-missouri-football","tag-missouri-tigers","tag-scouting-report
["GET
