An strong early start is critical for both sides. During last year&#8217;s regular season,<a  href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/stats\/team\/_\/table\/passing\/sort\/totalPointsPerGame\/dir\/desc\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> they averaged 370.4 total yards per game<\/a>. Most of this came through the rushing attack. However, Jackson had a career-best year in two key categories with 8.0 air yards per completion and a 67.2 completion percentage. He&#8217;s looking to throw the ball downfield and secondaries will have to honor the deep ball. Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2024\/07\/10\/derrick-henry-fantasy-football-2024-outlook-baltimore-ravens-running-back\/\" target=\"_self\">they&#8217;ve added Derrick Henry<\/a> who will share more of the offensive responsibility and should open up opportunities for his teammates.<\/p>\n<p>Conversely, this Kansas City side averaged approximately 20 yards less of total offense, while mustering only a 15th-best 21.8 ppg. This is a team that looks to get to the post-season healthy and without revealing too much of their hand. And while this matchup isn&#8217;t receiving as much focus, the Chiefs&#8217; corners going up against the Ravens&#8217; receivers is the matchup to look for. As mentioned, Jackson is getting better at finding times to get big gains with his arm. Consequently, the potential impact of losing L&#8217;Jarius Sneed this past offseason is too much to overlook. Additionally, Kansas City is a team that allows others to hang around, while <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.baltimoreravens.com\/team\/players-roster\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Baltimore plays<\/a> until the final whistle. Worst case scenario, even with a KC win, it&#8217;s easy to see a backdoor cover happening with this one. An outright win may be too risky, but the underdog covering is a safe option for this game.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under 47 (-110)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The last AFC title game ended with <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/game\/_\/gameId\/401547379\/chiefs-ravens\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a 17-10 scoreline<\/a>. At this point in the year, the defenses tend to be ahead of the offenses and this isn&#8217;t the Kansas City team of old that looks to run up the score. Luckily for Baltimore, he&#8217;s the most elusive athlete in the sport. The quarterback only needs the slightest of green lights and he&#8217;ll be halfway down the field.
