LSU’s offense was lacking, with a below-average offensive scheme and average Quarterbacks like Jordan Jefferson and Zach Mettenberger. However, since the historic season of the juggler Joe Burrow, the tide has shifted. LSU has had two top-three draft picks at Quarterback and potentially has another one in the wings.

Garrett Nussmeier, a four-star recruit from Flower Mound, Texas, committed to LSU. He patiently waited for his time to shine as the backup to LSU legend Jayden Daniels. His opportunity came against Wisconsin, where he put up an impressive stat line of 31-45 for 395 yards and three touchdowns. As we look forward to the upcoming season, the question arises: can Nussmeier build on his bowl performance and deliver consistent quarterback play? His promising start has the potential to bring a new level of excitement to LSU’s upcoming season, and we’ll delve into the film to see what he can bring to the table.

Position: Quarterback

School: Louisiana State University

Age: 22 years old

Height: 6’2 inches

Weight: 200 lbs

Nussmeier ’s Strengths

Has Experience in a pro-style system with excellent coaching from Brian Kelly. Kelly has a proven track record of producing elite NFL-level talent.

He has exceptional arm talent in the NFL and can make all NFL-level throws.
