When was the last time we saw a Chargers defender go from undrafted to a key role player? Michael Davis? That was seven years ago. However, under this brand new regime, the Chargers decided to give undrafted rookie Tre’Mon Morris-Brash a chance to compete, and he did. After a successful high school career in Washington DC, Morris-Brash earned a four-star recruiting status and was highly touted for his pass rush ability. Once he committed from UCF, he slowly garnered more and more playing time eventually leading to a long five-year career at the esteemed college. In the last two years of his career at UCF, Morris-Brash really put it all together, where he had 14.5 sacks across those two seasons<\/a>.<\/p>\n His production, leadership, and athletic ability were thought to be enough to get him drafted once he declared in 2024. Unfortunately, the 6’2 245 pound EDGE rusher was thought to be undersized to be an impact rusher at the next level. Not having enough arm length, size, or strength<\/a> is usually a sign of disaster.
