There will be a brief description provided on why.

2024 Fantasy Football League Winners by Position

Quarterback

CJ Stroud

Stroud has an opportunity to put up arcade fantasy numbers in his sophomore season. The Texans are a vertical passing offense stacked with talent. Look for lots of touchdowns and big plays from Stroud.

Jordan Love

Love should be on pre-season MVP lists. He could be a fantasy MVP too.

Anthony Richardson

Richardson is potent running the ball. He should also see coveted red zone carries. Jonathan Taylor’s presence will cap his goal line runs, but Richardson’s overall rushing can make him a 2o-point per week player.

Jalen Hurts

New offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore, will revert Hurts back to an All-Pro level. 15 rushing touchdowns will be hard to replicate but look for his 15 interceptions to go down, too.

Caleb Williams

It’s tricky to bank on a rookie in fantasy football, so proceed with caution. However, Williams is walking into an unprecedented level of talent. DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Cole Kmet, D’Andre Swift, and Khalil Herbert are an abundance of wealth.

Running back

Derrick Henry

The Ravens are a running team that will be playing with a lot of leads. Derrick Henry still has juice in the tank. Look for a more efficient season than he had in 2023. Fantasy managers can also bank on double-digit rushing touchdowns.

Saquan Barkley

Barkley is an extraordinary talent behind an elite offensive line. He is a no-brainer to target this fantasy season.

Breece Hall

The Jets’ offensive line has improved, and Aaron Rodgers is back. Hall could flirt with 2,000 yards from scrimmage.

Bijan Robinson

Better play-calling should have Robinson’s floor at 1,000 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving. Improved quarterback play will heighten his ceiling much further than that.

Aaron Jones

Aaron Jones is still fast and dynamic and could find running lanes in Minnesota. He’s a fantasy football sleeper.

Wide Receiver

Puka Nacua

Nacua had over 100 catches and nearly 1,500 yards as a rookie (!). His ceiling is in the stratosphere.

Garrett Wilson

Garrett Wilson was productive with arguably the worst quarterback play in the NFL. Wilson should thrive even if Aaron Rodgers doesn’t fully revert back to form. Wilson could be in store for a huge season if Rodgers does.

Michael Pittman Jr.

Pittman Jr. is a perfect wide receiver to have in the Flex of PPR leagues. The yardage, big plays, and touchdowns are capped, but he’s a catch machine.

Jayden Reed

One of Green Bay’s receivers should rise to the top and become Jordan Love’s primary target. It was primed to be Christian Watson, but he faltered in his second year. Fantasy managers should take a flier on Reed after round eight.

Amon-Ra St. Brown

St. Brown is a catch-machine in a very good offense. Unlike other slot receivers, “Sun God” also puts up elite yardage; reaching over 1500 in 2023. St. Brown gets a lot of catches and doesn’t have any receiver next to him to seriously challenge for targets.

Tight End

Kyle Pitts

Pitts has a competent quarterback for the first time in his career. Kirk Cousins’s Achilles injury still raises concern, but Kyle Pitts can tentatively been viewed as an elite fantasy option.

Trey McBride

Zach Ertz got placed on IR after Week 7. From Week 8 to Week 18, McBride accumulated 66 catches for 655 yards and three touchdowns. A full season as the starting tight end could wind up with McBridge putting up some eye-popping fantasy numbers.

Sam LaPorta

LaPorta will be Jared Goff’s second option after Amon-Ra St. Brown. Goff is a rock-solid quarterback and Detroit is a potent offense. Look for LaPorta to get an elite number of targets.

Dalton Kincaid

Buffalo lost both Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis this offseason. The Bills haven’t sufficiently replaced either, so Allen will likely lean on his tight ends if that doesn’t change. Kincaid could be in store for a ton of targets.

Evan Engram

It’ll be difficult to replicate a 114-catch season, but Engram will be a fixture in the Jags’ offense again. Gabe Davis will be replacing Calvin Ridley, but Davis is more of a deep threat, so expect Engram to see a lot of looks underneath.

Main Image: Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

This is a list of fantasy football players who could exceed expectations and/or Average Draft Position (ADP).
