Top 30 visits\u00a0<\/span>aren’t<\/span>\u00a0an exact science on who a team will take, but it shows at least a slight interest in every player brought in.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every team gets to bring in 30 players (as\u00a0<\/span>I\u2019m<\/span>\u00a0sure you figured out in the name Top 30)\u00a0<\/span>teams<\/span>\u00a0also get to bring in local players, whether they went to high school or college in the state. You get 30 visits from around the country and could visit with the entire University of Minnesota roster if\u00a0<\/span>that\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0what general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah<\/a> wants to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2023\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span> Minnesota Vikings<\/a> drafted three players that took the trip to Minnesota for a top 30 visit: Jordan Addison, Mekhi Blackmon, and DeWayne McBride. So, odds are, the Vikings will draft at least one of these players, so <\/span>it\u2019s<\/span> good to get familiar with them now.<\/span>\u00a0These reports were compiled on Si.com<\/a> by Will Ragatz.<\/a> I’m expanding and giving more detail on these players. With that\u00a0being\u00a0said, here are every reported top 30 visits as of Friday, April 19.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every Minnesota Vikings Top-30 Visit<\/h2>\n

Byron Murphy II DT Texas- Reported by Ian Rapoport<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

An almost certain first-round pick<\/a>, Murphy played at a high level for Texas in 2023. Murphy was first team All-Big12 and Big 12 Conference Defensive Lineman of the Year. <\/span>If<\/span>\u00a0the Vikings\u00a0<\/span>can\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0get a quarterback and keep pick 11<\/span>, Murphy is a likely possibility<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quinyon Mitchell CB Toledo- Reported by Dane Brugler<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

A three-star prospect out of high school, Mitchell committed to Toledo\u00a0<\/span>and dominated and separated<\/span>\u00a0himself early from MAC competition.<\/span>\u00a0Mitchell is\u00a0<\/span>Toledo\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0all-time leader in pass breakups, showing impeccable ball skills. His stock took off at the combine, running a 4.33 40-yard dash\u00a0<\/span>along with<\/span>\u00a0a 38-inch vertical, showing off his explosiveness.\u00a0<\/span>He\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0another player\u00a0<\/span>who\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0a slam-dunk first-round pick<\/a>, and the Vikings would likely have to take him at pick 11.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dallas Turner DE Alabama- Reported by Tom Pelissero<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Turner is one of the more high-profile defensive players in this draft.\u00a0<\/span>He\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0the betting favorite to be the first defensive player off the board<\/a>, and for good reason. While\u00a0<\/span>he\u2019s<\/span> not the biggest guy at only 247 pounds, he sure makes up for it in explosiveness. At the combine, he ran a 4.46 40-yard dash, with a 40.5-inch vertical and 10.07-inch broad jump, <\/span>which all rank<\/span>\u00a0near the top of all defensive ends.<\/span><\/p>\n

Charles Turner III IOL LSU- Reported by Darren Wolfson<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Turner\u00a0<\/span>is viewed<\/span>\u00a0as a late-round or undrafted free agent. He played center for Heisman-winner Jayden Daniels and LSU during the 2023 season. Turner tested well at the combine, having 34-inch arms, with explosive jumps and a good shuttle time, but\u00a0<\/span>will<\/span>\u00a0have to overcome his lack of size.<\/span><\/p>\n

Marshawn Kneeland DE Western Michigan- Reported by Tony Pauline<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Another high-profile MAC prospect,<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>Kneeland<\/span>\u00a0has been picking up steam throughout the last couple of weeks. He was Second Team All-MAC while leading the Broncos with 4.5 sacks in 2023. An undersized but explosive athlete (you may be sensing a trend here)\u00a0<\/span>he<\/span>\u00a0had great vertical and broad jumps, showing off explosion and burst,\u00a0<\/span>paired with<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>great<\/span> agility testing in the shuttle and three-cone drills. Kneeland <\/span>is viewed<\/span>\u00a0around the league as a second-round pick, which the Vikings currently\u00a0<\/span>don\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0have.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taki Taimani DT Oregon- Reported by Aaron Wilson<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Taimani, the 330-pound senior at <\/span>Oregon<\/span>\u00a0played in every game in 2023 for Oregon, starting in nine. A run-stuffing specialist, PFF graded him at 82.3 in their run-defense grade. Taimaini\u00a0<\/span>wasn\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0a combine invite, and\u00a0<\/span>the testing he did<\/span>\u00a0at\u00a0<\/span>Oregon\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0pro day\u00a0<\/span>doesn\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0flash great athleticism.\u00a0<\/span>He\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0viewed<\/span>\u00a0as an undrafted free agent.<\/span><\/p>\n

McCallan Castles TE Tennessee- Reported by Ryan Fowler<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Castles, a sixth-year senior, finished his last year of collegiate football with 283 yards and five touchdowns. Castles is seen as a late-round pick<\/a> to an undrafted free agent, as he\u00a0<\/span>didn\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0produce\u00a0<\/span>a lot<\/span>. Tennessee moved him around from in-line tight end to the slot, and he tested well at the combine, so\u00a0<\/span>there\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0upside to be unlocked.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spencer Rolland OT North Carolina (local)- Reported by Darren Wolfson<\/span><\/h3>\n

Rolland, the Apple Valley alum, tested\u00a0<\/span>fairly<\/span>\u00a0average at the combine. A two-star prospect out of high school, he committed to Harvard and played there for four years before transferring to North Carolina for the last two. He started every game for the Tar\u00a0<\/span>Heels,<\/span>\u00a0and projects as an undrafted free agent.<\/span><\/p>\n

Khristian Boyd DT Northern Illinois- Reported by Darren Wolfson<\/span><\/h3>\n

Boyd has been on the\u00a0<\/span>Viking’s<\/span>\u00a0radar for a while now, with the two having meetings starting months ago. He\u00a0<\/span>wasn\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0invited to the combine but tested at\u00a0<\/span>UNI\u2019s<\/span> pro day. His 28.5-inch vertical and eight-foot-two-inch broad jump <\/span>don\u2019t<\/span> show a ton of explosiveness, and with his arms only measuring 31 5\/8 inches long, he has to use his power to hold up with offensive linemen. <\/span>He\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0viewed<\/span>\u00a0as a late-round prospect.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dillon Johnson RB Washington- Reported by Ryan Fowler<\/span><\/h3>\n

Johnson is known to most who pay attention to college football, rushing for almost 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns for\u00a0<\/span>an extremely<\/span>\u00a0dynamic Huskies offense.\u00a0<\/span>One of the\u00a0<\/span>tougher<\/span>\u00a0players in this draft,\u00a0<\/span>Johnson<\/span>\u00a0played in the National Championship with a knee and foot injury that clearly hobbled him but gutted through anyway.<\/span><\/p>\n

Erick All TE Iowa- Reported by Ryan Fowler<\/span><\/h3>\n

After committing to Michigan out of high school, he played there for four years before injuring his back and required spinal surgery. He transferred to Iowa for a fifth\u00a0<\/span>year<\/span>\u00a0where he led the team in receiving while only playing in seven games due to an ACL tear. He\u00a0<\/span>didn\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0test because of the knee injury, so the athletic numbers are unknown, but he showed flashes of being a solid athlete. The injuries are\u00a0<\/span>worrisome<\/span>, and he\u00a0<\/span>isn\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0the most physical player.\u00a0<\/span>He\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0viewed<\/span>\u00a0as a mid-to-late day three pick.<\/span><\/p>\n

Donovan\u00a0<\/span>Jennings<\/span> OT South Florida- Reported by Tony Pauline<\/span><\/h3>\n

Jennings, a sixth-year senior, played all six seasons at South Florida. He set a school record in games played for USF\u00a0<\/span>with<\/span>\u00a0most of those snaps at left tackle. With 33-inch arms,\u00a0<\/span>he<\/span>\u00a0looks to convert to the interior once on an NFL roster. He projects as a late-round pick to an undrafted free agent.<\/span><\/p>\n

Qwan\u2019tez<\/span> Stiggers CB Toronto Argonauts (CFL)- Reported by Aaron Wilson<\/span><\/h3>\n

After a long journey of being overlooked in high school and quitting football altogether<\/span>, he wound<\/span>\u00a0up playing in the CFL for the 2023 season.<\/span>\u00a0He won the Most Outstanding Rookie award in the CFL, and since he\u00a0<\/span>didn\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0play any college football,\u00a0<\/span>he\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0allowed to declare for the NFL draft. He had a pro day at B.E.S.T Academy, his old high school, in Atlanta. Stiggers ran a 4.45 40-yard dash with a 1.52 10-yard split. At\u00a0<\/span>5\u201911<\/span>\u201d\u00a0<\/span>and 205 pounds <\/span>he<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>doesn\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0have the\u00a0<\/span>biggest<\/span>\u00a0build. With his short area quickness\u00a0<\/span>along<\/span>\u00a0with his determination and ability to overcome challenges,\u00a0<\/span>he\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0an exciting middle-of-day-three prospect<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
