The wide receiver class this year is loaded with talent across the board. Marvin Harrison Jr. is one of the best prospects, but it doesn’t mean there aren’t hidden gems. One name that should be on most teams’ radar is Malachi Corley, a mid-round catch receiver who looks like a day-one prospect.

It’s surprising to see the numbers he could put when he gets the opportunity to explode. He’s one of those receivers who can turn into electric when he gets the ball in his hands but this isn’t his main ability. Corley could make short-yardage plays turn toward the end zone for a potential score. He consistently finds his way to get open to make those plays on quick slants or screenplays.

Many fans and analysts have dubbed him “The YAC King” so his ability to make catches look like he’s a running back, and that should give teams a chance to consider him. However, a source indicates that he’s a day-two fourth-round prospect after not running at the NFL Combine. Corley still ran between a 4.46-4.48 at his school’s Pro Day.

Here are five NFL teams that could draft Malachi Corley this season.

5 Teams That Could Draft Malachi Corley

Kansas City Chiefs

This could be the perfect opportunity for the defending Super Bowl Champions to score a gem in this year’s draft. The ongoing Rashee Rice investigation shows that they need a receiver before Patrick Mahomes takes on the field again. Kansas City signed Marquise Brown to a one-year deal and his abilities and characteristics look to be similar to Corley. So this selection makes sense since the Chiefs would have three reliable speedy weapons Isiah Pacheco, Brown and Corley.

His Senior Bowl shows that he could play top-notch receiver action to make explosive plays that can replicate what the Chiefs have. He isn’t afraid to take on contact and run straight through a defender so that’s something that can be a replacement for Rice.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens may attempt to find their Odell Bekcham Jr. replacement by drafting Corley in this year’s draft. Baltimore has been watching plenty of prospects in this receiver class and one of them includes Corley. The team is expected to have one of the best run games in the league with the addition of Derrick Henry. Adding Corley would just be like adding more fuel to the fire to what they already have.

It’s not only in the run game but also in the passing game after only having Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews as reliable pass-catchers.

New Orleans Saints

According to a report, the Saints hosting the Western Kentucky wide receiver on a pre-draft visit. Corley seems like the best fit for New Orleans after releasing long-time receiver Michael Thomas this free agency. Corley has been compared to San Francisco 49ers Deebo Samuel with his acceleration and speed. So this may be the answer for the Saints as they look for their next big-time receiver after Thomas.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers haven’t had much productivity this free agency and they already lost two starting wide receivers. This makes Jim Harbaugh have to decide to find their next speedy receiver. A source is predicting the Chargers could select Corley in the second round of the NFL draft with the No. 44 pick. He could find himself handsomely well fit in an offense that needs a replacement after Mike Williams and Keenan Allen’s departure.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys are an obvious fit and looking for a WR3 after releasing Michael Gallup, who is still looking for a home. However, adding Corley could add the explosiveness that America’s team is looking for. He may complement Kavontae Turpin well in the quick slants route and emerge as one of the biggest stars under Dak Prescott. Corley said he isn’t just a “YAC King,” he could establish under any system that has talent alongside CeeDee Lamb.

Wide Receiver Malachi Corley is one of the crown jewel weapons in the 2024 NFL Draft and should emerge on top across the teams boards.

[1647,10,19,16,18,28
7642,7811,4793,32400,9801,514,9716,7638,7659
post-169072","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-draft","category-ravens","category-cowboys","category-chiefs","category-chargers","category-saints","tag-chargers-featured","tag-chiefs-featured","tag-deebo-samuel","tag-malachi-corley","tag-marvin-harrison-jr","tag-odell-beckham-jr","tag-rashee-rice","tag-ravens-featured","tag-saints-featured
["GET
