A former first-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals, Reddick started his career as a solid pass rusher before coming alive in his later years. The Temple product has recorded double-digit sacks in each of the past four seasons, and he could take his talents to a new organization in 2024.

The Eagles entered the offseason with too many reliable edge rushers. This is definitely a good problem to have, but the team couldn’t possibly keep Reddick, Josh Sweat, first-round pick Nolan Smith, and free agent signee Bryce Huff all on the same team. With Sweat restructuring his deal, it only made sense for the Eagles to try and trade Haason Reddick.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler recently spoke on a potential Haason Reddick trade and made it sound as if a deal will happen at some point. Additionally, the league insider thinks that Reddick could reunite with his former team.

“The expectation league-wide is that Haason Reddick is moved at some point.” – @JFowlerESPN.

Fowler named the #Cardinals as a team to watch for Reddick. Despite a complete lack of talent on the roster, Jonathan Gannon found a way to make this team competitive with Kyler Murray under center. The Cardinals should be even better in 2024, as Murray will be healthier and they have six top-100 picks in the upcoming NFL Draft. With plenty of draft capital to go around, Arizona should be willing to part with one pick for a proven veteran.

Additionally, the familiarity between players and coaches could help facilitate a Haason Reddick trade. As previously mentioned, Reddick spent his first four years in Arizona, and there are bound to be a few people in the building who can vouch for his talent. On top of that, head coach Jonathan Gannon used to be the Eagles defensive coordinator, so he knows how to properly utilize the former first-round pick.

The Cardinals could end up being the team to trade for Haason Reddick, but they won’t be the only ones interested in his services. Even though he is on the older side, players with double-digit sack potential are a rare commodity and should be in high demand.

Other Possible Fits

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans are perhaps the most improved team of the offseason. After shoring up needs at wide receiver, cornerback, and the offensive line, edge defender is the only major need left on the roster. A Haason Reddick trade won’t make this team a Super Bowl contender, but they could make the playoffs if Will Levis makes the Year 2 leap.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens lost several key players in free agency, and they could lose another in the coming days. The Jets reportedly want Jadeveon Clowney, which means the Ravens will need to find someone capable of getting after the quarterback. A Haason Reddick trade might not be the cheapest option, but he will provide immediate results for a team desperately trying to get to the Super Bowl for the first time in a decade.

Carolina Panthers

D.J. Wonnum is a fine player, but he can’t replace Brian Burns all on his own. The Carolina Panthers justifiably spent most of their offseason resources on the offensive side of the ball, but now they need somebody to play the edge. Haason Reddick spent a year with the Panthers, so he shouldn’t need too much time to get acclimated to Carolina if the team decides to trade for him.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars had the fewest sacks in the league last year and have not done all that much to fix the problem. With the rest of the AFC South improving, Jacksonville can’t spend another season relying on Josh Allen to singlehandedly get after the quarterback. A Haason Reddick trade will solve their biggest weakness and help them compete with a talented young Texans team.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs had one of the best defenses in football last year, thanks in large part to the elite cornerback duo of Trent McDuffie and L’Jarius Sneed. However, now that Sneed is in Tennessee, the Chiefs will need to do something to mitigate his loss. Cornerback is an important position, but you can get by with an average CB2 if you have a great pass rush. Acquiring Haason Reddick via trade and pairing him with Chris Jones and George Karlaftis would give Kansas City arguably the best trio of pass rushers in the game.

Main Photo: Eric Hartline – USA Today Sports

A recent report by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler states that the Eagles will trade Haason Reddick, and he could go to a familiar team.

[36,33,30,21
7811,1866,7661,7638
post-167204","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-news","category-cardinals","category-panthers","category-eagles","tag-chiefs-featured","tag-haason-reddick","tag-panthers-featured","tag-ravens-featured
["GET
