$96 million New Orleans Saints Wide Receiver, Michael Thomas<\/a> responds to report in fiery tweet. There was a recent report<\/a> that came out that Thomas\u2019 run with the Saints is apparently coming to an end. Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune said <\/a>it\u2019s not a matter of if, but when it actually happens before the new league year begins. Thomas has gone through his riddle of injuries in his career after catching a record 149 passes in 2019.<\/p>\n

He only appeared in seven games in 2020 before missing the entire 2021 season. Thomas played three games in 2022 and 10 games in 2023. Following his renegotiation, the report still states that the Saints will release Thomas after the league year and it was a technicality. However, it didn\u2019t stop Thomas from airing out his true feelings on the situation after going through trials and tribulations.<\/p>\n

Despite his highs and lows, Thomas is ripping the journalist and is accusing him of trying to ruin the players\u2019 value. He took it to social media on X to take aim at Duncan to dispute how his release is being characterized. Thomas\u2019 tweets on X are a series of inflammatory posts<\/a> that are aiming that his separation was simply the result of his expiring contract.<\/p>\n
