It wasn\u2019t in Boston or Houston. It wasn\u2019t on eBay. Heck, it wasn\u2019t even in the United States. Tom Brady<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s Super Bowl LI game worn jersey was in Mexico.<\/p>\n

Tom Brady’s Stolen Super Bowl Jersey Found in Mexico<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to an NFL statement, the Super Bowl winning quarterback\u2019s jersey was recovered in Mexico with the help of the NFL, New England Patriots security teams and other law enforcement officials. The FBI was also involved since it was discovered outside U.S. borders.<\/p>\n

In another remarkable turn of events, Brady\u2019s game worn jersey from Super Bowl XLIX against the Seattle Seahawks was recovered in the possession of the same culprit. This jersey was also stolen right after the Patriots victory.<\/p>\n

The culprit was confirmed to be a credentialed international member of the media that attended both Super Bowls. Little else\u00a0is known about the culprit at this time.<\/p>\n

After the Patriots miraculous Super Bowl comeback victory against the Atlanta Falcons about a month and a half ago, Brady returned to his locker and found his jersey had been taken out of\u00a0the bag he put in\u00a0his locker.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate, because that\u2019s a nice piece of memorabilia,\u201d Brady said following the Patriots 34-28 overtime victory over the Falcons. Patriots owner Robert Kraft<\/strong> also voiced his displeasure and sadness over the theft.<\/p>\n

Houston Police put a value of $500,000 on the stolen jersey in their report after the game. They described the theft as a first-degree felony.<\/p>\n

The case progressively went cold as time went by and disappeared from public news until today.<\/p>\n

Whoever stole the jersey may have been in possession of one of the most valuable and memorable pieces of NFL gear in pro football history. The Patriots overcame a 25-point deficit to defeat the Falcons in overtime. Brady was given the Super Bowl MVP and earned his fifth title.<\/p>\n
