He was originally committed to Michigan before flipping to the University of Texas where he would spend all three years in college. Despite his slight frame (listed at 6’1″, 172) he led the 2021 Longhorns<\/a> in receiving yards, receptions, and receiving touchdowns. His sophomore season left a lot to be desired after an All-American Freshman campaign. He still led the team in the major receiving categories, but his counting totals decreased across the board. 2023 was a bounce-back season for Worthy as he posted career highs in yards and receptions before declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.
