The Ravens quietened the talk about Lamar Jackson’s playoff record with a comprehensive victory over the banged-up Texans team last week. The Ravens relied on Tyler Bass joining the rich tradition of Bills kicking woes in the postseason to advance. Two strong defenses could keep this one low-scoring and make it a very close contest.

DraftKings DFS bargains for the Chiefs At the Ravens

The In Form DraftKings DFS Pick – Nelson Agholor

Agholor just about counts as a bargain this week. He’ll cost $5,000 on the DraftKings DFS Captains Showdown slate. That’s $400 cheaper than Odell Beckham Jr. And Beckham Jr. Hasn’t caught a touchdown in his last 6 games. Agholor has caught 2 in that time. Agholor averages 6.3 DraftKings DFS points in his last 5 games compared to Beckham’s 1.9.

Last week he only caught 2 of his 4 targets for 12 yards but he was the only Ravens wide receiver to catch a touchdown. This week he should line up opposite the All-pro Trent McDuffie. The second-year nickelback has only allowed 65.8% of passes to be completed, but he has blitzed 54 times (that’s more times than all the Chiefs linebackers have) this season and made 3 sacks. So, Agholor may find himself on a hot route or two as the Chiefs try to contain Lamar Jackson. The 524 receiving yards McDuffie has conceded is the most of any Chiefs defender.

The “Technically Not A Bargain, But Sort Of A Bargain Pick – Mark Andrews

Andrews was expected to play last week after he was designated to return from IR, but he didn’t. So maybe this week? Or maybe he won’t be back until the Super Bowl (if they make it)? If he is back, he’ll leap straight to the top of Lamar Jackson’s favorite targets chart.

He only started 9 games during the regular season, but he is still second on the Ravens’ receptions table. Only Zay Flowers caught more and he started 16 games. Andrews even ran the ball in the regular season (only once and it went for 0 yards, but it still counts). Nobody caught more touchdowns during the regular season than Andrews even though his last game was on the 16th of November!

At $6,600 on this DraftKings DFS Captains Showdown slate, Andrews is a bit pricey for a legitimate bargain. But he is $3,200 cheaper than his opposite number Travis Kelce. The Chiefs allowed 9.3 yards per reception to the tight end position during the regular season.

The Points Machine Pick – Harrison Butker

Butker will cost just $4,800 on this DraftKings DFS Captains Showdown slate. He has played 17 postseason games and scored 14 points! And he hasn’t missed a field goal from 50 yards or more in a playoff game since 2021. In a game with two strong defenses moving down the field won’t be easy. Nutker averages 9.4 DraftKings points this season. And with a benign weather forecast, neither kicker will mind if they attempt a few long-range efforts.

The “There’s A Chance” DraftKings DFS Pick – Dalvin Cook

He was only promoted to the Ravens active roster and he only carried the ball 8 times last weekend. So, Cook only costs $1,200 on this DraftKings DFS Captains Showdown slate. But anyone has got a chance of breaking off a long run behind that Ravens offensive line. And the Bills ran for 182 yards against this Chiefs defense last week, so all the Ravens ball carriers could have success this week.

During the regular season, the Chiefs conceded 19.9 DraftKings DFS points per game to the running back position. Cook didn’t catch a pass last week, but he did catch 15 of 20 targets in the regular season.

The Totally Random DraftKings DFS Pick – Skyy Moore

There’s absolutely no reason to pick Moore this week and he may not even play. But if he does play it’ll be his first game since Week 14 and if he catches a pass, it’ll be his first reception since Week 12 in Green Bay. So, he’ll be the freshest receiver on the field. With no Kadarius Toney (and Rashee Rice hobbling around the field last week) the Chiefs appear to lack a big of pop from their receiving corps. If Moore can go, he’d be a good foil for Kelce. And he only costs $1,000 on this DraftKings DFS Captains Showdown slate.

If he does play, he figures to line up opposite Brandon Stephens.
