The new contract keeps him with the team until 2019. Marshall is coming off a disappointing 2016 season that saw him snag only 59 receptions for 788 yards and three touchdowns as the Jets endured a frustrating 5-11 season.<\/p>\n<p>Marshall has been an extremely productive wideout for the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, and New York Jets over an 11-year career, and currently sits 18th all-time with 941 career receptions and tied for 24th all-time with 12,061 career receiving yards. Over the course of his NFL journey, he has earned six Pro Bowl berths, and a Second-team All-Pro nod in 2015, his first season with the Jets.<\/p>\n<p>Marshall has eight 1,000 yard seasons to his credit and has fallen short of the marker only three times in his career. Perhaps even more impressive, Marshall has an eye-popping six 100-catch seasons to his credit. Furthermore, during his aforementioned 2015 All-Pro season, he secured 109 receptions for 1,502 yards 14 touchdowns (tied for the league lead), proving that he still has much to offer an NFL franchise.<\/p>\n<p>The 32-year-old Marshall has still yet to appear in his first post-season game, something that seems very likely to change as a member of the Giants. Marshall clearly jumped at the chance to remain in New York and join forces with <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MannEl00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eli Manning<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BeckOd00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Odell Beckham<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/ShepSt00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sterling Shepard<\/a><\/strong> to form a potent passing attack for a team hoping to make a deep playoff run for the first time since the 2011-2012 Super Bowl season.
