It\u2019s a replay of Super Bowl LVII which does mean two good teams finally meet in prime time. But it\u2019s unlikely to be the blockbuster we saw in February. Neither the Eagles nor the Chiefs have hit their straps yet. And neither really wants to until the playoffs start in 10 weeks’ time. The intriguing part of this game is both teams are coming off their Bye week. And Andy Reid\u2019s record after a Bye is nearly perfect so it\u2019ll be a surprise if the Eagles win even if they\u2019re the better team so far this season. The Eagles’ only defeat this season came on the road to the Jets (of all teams) it wouldn\u2019t be a surprise if they<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DraftKings Week 11 Monday Night Bargains<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The “Still Plenty Of Gas In The Tank” DraftKings DFS Pick – Julio Jones<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The wily old veteran has only started one game since he arrived in Philadelphia, but after a Bye week to familiarize himself with the playbook he\u2019s bound to be more involved this week. Even though he\u2019s only caught two of his three targets so far this season he\u2019s already caught a touchdown!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With injury concerns over both Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra, Jones<\/a> could well be used exclusively in the red zone. And. with the Chiefs focused on stopping AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, he\u2019ll draw some favorable matchups. He might even wind up being defended by a linebacker or safety and he should be able to raise above them for the catch.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Chiefs’ young defensive backs have been good this season despite having to deal with a few injuries. They\u2019re only allowing 30.8 DraftKings DFS points per game in 2023. But they haven\u2019t played a team with as many receiving threats as the Eagles since Week 1 when they lost to the Lions. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Trending Upward DraftKings DFS Pick – Marquez Valdes-Scantling<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Eagles’ defensive backs have also suffered a few injuries during the season. And, after losing C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Marcus Epps in free agency, they had to trade Terrell Edmunds for Kevin Byard. But they are still conceding 49.6 DraftKings DFS points per game which is the most in the league!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Valdes-Scantling didn\u2019t have a great start to the season, he only caught seven passes in the first six games, but he has been involved recently. In the last three games, he has caught seven of his 12 targets. This week, he should lineup opposite James Bradberry who has conceded seven touchdowns this season. Bradberry is also allowing 11.7 yards per catch and a passer rating of 117.6.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Deep Threat DraftKings DFS Pick – Justin Watson<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Watson\u2019s use has been erratic this season, there are not any trends to pick out. But, he is averaging 19.7 yards per reception. The Chiefs will obviously want to run the ball to slow down the Eagles pass rush but they\u2019ll also need to stretch the defense. Otherwise, they\u2019ll just be running into a stacked box all night. The Eagles have the best defense when it comes to stopping the run, but they are also dead last when it comes to conceding passing touchdowns. That\u2019s why Byard is there now. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Watson will be the fifth most expensive receiver on the DraftKings DFS and with his average yards per catch he\u2019ll only need three receptions to score decent points,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Trick Play Guy Pick – Noah Gray<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s difficult to imagine the Eagles won\u2019t be laser-focused on Travis Kelce in the passing game. But Gray isn\u2019t just a weapon in the passing game. And he\u2019s likely to be one of the cheapest tight ends on the DraftKings DFS slate. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Chiefs have used Gray the sneak the ball when they get into awkward short-yardage situations<\/a> and don\u2019t want Mahomes to get crushed. Against this Eagles’ defensive front, there\u2019s a strong chance they\u2019ll find themselves in awkward short-yardage situations quite often.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The “Maybe, Just Maybe” DraftKings DFS Pick – Skyy Moore<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

He\u2019s never been quite as good as he should be. Moore ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the combine and everyone assumed he\u2019d be a direct Tyreek Hill replacement, but it\u2019s never quite happened. He\u2019s never caught more than five passes in a single game and never managed more than 70 receiving yards. But he managed that total in Week 2 of the 2023 season against the Jaguars. <\/span><\/p>\n

So maybe he\u2019s slowly adapting to the NFL? He is averaging 18.8 yards per reception this season. And in Germany two weeks ago he averaged 165 yards per touch. So he doesn\u2019t need much involvement to be a factor in the DraftKings DFS game.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
