They often don’t have a big name, because Patrick Mahomes will never have a buy low window, but old veterans can help a competing team or young players with a window for 2024 can be bought on the cheap.

Dynasty Buy Lows – Fantasy Football

Jonathan Mingo, WR Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are in a weird spot for 2024. They lack the draft capital to upgrade at WR, and the 2024 free agents aren’t anything exciting. That makes Mingo an easy choice for a dynasty buy low list for rebuilding teams. He’s tied to Bryce Young for the foreseeable future, and Adam Thielen is far from a spring chicken. Mingo’s raw athleticism is exciting enough but combined with his usage in Carolina and his ability to earn targets already is cause for optimism. He’s averaging over five targets a game as a raw rookie and could have a George Pickens type ascension in 2024. On the flip side of the coin, Thielen is a great dynasty buy low for competing teams. Admittedly he’s a one-year rental but flipping Thielen for Mingo is a good move depending on where a roster is at.

Recommended opening offer: 2024 mid second

Tyjae Spears, RB Tennessee Titans

After trade deadline rumors swirled, Derrick Henry is still a Titan. The Spears manager could be impatient, and after a week or two where he doesn’t perform a buy window will open. As an individual talent, Spears is electric. He is forcing 0.30 missed tackles per rush per PFF, good enough for second in the NFL. Any RB talented enough to steal snaps from Derrick Henry is someone to keep an eye on, and any buy low window is a welcome sight. He’ll be on everyone’s short list for RBs to take a step forward in 2024.

Recommended opening offer: An older RB in a rebuild (Henry) or a 2024 early second

Michael Thomas, WR New Orleans Saints

Don’t look now, but Thomas is a viable FLEX play. He’s currently the WR39 in PPR scoring, and his age and injury history will make rebuilders want to throw him away. Admittedly, he’s not a cool dynasty buy low target. But with how deep dynasty teams are he should be scooped up by competing teams. Despite poor QB play he hasn’t gone under nine fantasy points yet, and averages over seven targets a game.

Recommended opening offer: 2024 third and fourth

Greg Dulcich, TE Denver Broncos

Remember when he was on everyone’s tight end sleepers list? Now he’s labeled as an injury riddled tight end on a bad offense. According to keeptradecut he’s basically the same price as an early fourth or late third. With tight end the wasteland that it is for fantasy, Dulcich was a bright spot in 2022. He put together four top ten games in his ten games played, which doesn’t sound like much except he was rookie. Looking to 2024, he’ll be on year three and ready for a breakout campaign. There’s not going to be a better option in the late third next year.

Recommended opening offer: 2024 early fourth or late third

More Dynasty Fantasy Football

Main Photo Credit: Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Underperforming young players and undervalued old players highlight the dynasty buy lows in fantasy football.

[59,32631
9741,9751,294,9138,9790,301,7661,7659,9888
post-151519","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","category-dynasty","tag-dynasty-buy-low","tag-dynasty-trade-targets","tag-fantasy-football","tag-greg-dulcich","tag-jonathan-mingo","tag-michael-thomas","tag-panthers-featured","tag-saints-featured","tag-tyjae-spears
["GET
