The NFL trade deadline may have come and gone, but that doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re done trading this fantasy season. Despite your record, there is still plenty of time to start a winning streak with a couple of moves. Go out, send some offers to your league mates and get ready for the postseason run. These are your week 9 players to buy and\/or sell.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fantasy Football Week 8 Buy and Sell Targets<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Players to Buy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jonathan Taylor (RB: Indianapolis Colts)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The way fans are acting you\u2019d think Jonathan Taylor<\/a> just had a horrible game. Taylor is coming off a 10.7 fantasy point game, but he did have 97 total yards on the day. Taylor owners are frustrated with the usage between Taylor and Zack Moss, so take advantage. Make no mistake, Jonathan Taylor is one of the league\u2019s best and has a favorable couple of games ahead. He\u2019s potentially a cheap buy right now if the owner is done waiting on him to return to form.<\/span><\/p>\n

Diontae Johnson (WR: Pittsburgh Steelers)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Since returning from injury, Diontae Johnson<\/a> has racked up 13 receptions for 164 yards on 20 targets in two games. He\u2019s still searching for his first touchdown in over a year, but even without finding the endzone, Johnson\u2019s floor is in double digits. Johnson has been the top option in the Steelers passing game, out-targeting George Pickens<\/a> 20 to 13 over the last two games. In a low-scoring offense, buy the guy getting receptions at a high rate over the player with touchdown appeal. Diontae Johnson is a fantasy WR2 now that he\u2019s healthy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dalton Kincaid (TE: Buffalo Bills)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you didn\u2019t get the rookie tight end before last Thursday night\u2019s game, then you\u2019ll be paying a premium for him now. Although, he\u2019ll be well worth the price tag at a thin tight-end position. Dalton Kincaid<\/a> has a league-winning upside on one of the best offenses in the league that\u2019s been desperate for a #2 target outside of Stefon Diggs. Dawson Knox will be out for at least the next three games, so don\u2019t be surprised if Kincaid continues to be heavily involved moving forward.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bonus Buy – Josh Downs (WR: Indianapolis Colts)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Josh Downs<\/a> has four straight games with 13+ fantasy points. The Indianapolis Colts<\/a> are the only team this season to have scored 20+ points in each game<\/a>. That type of offense is what you want to target for your fantasy players. Downs is a main beneficiary of that production as he\u2019s second on the team in all major receiving categories. Receptions (40), yards (473), touchdowns (2), and targets (56). He\u2019s also sporting a 21% target share and growing. Turn Downs for what? Turn Josh Downs into your next trade offer and buy!<\/span><\/p>\n

Players to Sell<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gus Edwards (RB: Baltimore Ravens)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gus Edwards<\/a> has back-to-back games with 20+ fantasy points. Someone in your league needs a running back and will be willing to buy him. Find that person and sell Gus Edwards as high as you can. All it takes is one bad game for his value to come crashing back down. The upcoming schedule is not favorable and his high-volume touchdowns are unstainable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Minnesota Vikings WRs<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With the season-ending injury to quarterback Kirk Cousins<\/a>, the Viking’s whole offense could be undergoing some changes. With Cousins, the Vikings were one of the most pass-heavy offenses in the league. That\u2019s bound to change and it\u2019ll lower the value of the pass catchers. Jordan Addison<\/a> and KJ Osborn might still have value coming off huge games. Even with the trade for Joshua Dobbs<\/a>, the passing volume should decrease. Sell them before things get worse.<\/span><\/p>\n

Logan Thomas (TE: Washington Commanders)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Understandably, if you don\u2019t have one of the top tight ends, it\u2019s hard to let go of players producing. However, Logan Thomas isn\u2019t consistent enough to warrant a weekly start. His splits with and without a touchdown are concerning. With a touchdown, he averages 15.77 PPG, whereas without it\u2019s 6.48 PPG. The Commander’s offense isn\u2019t good enough to muster enough touchdowns for everyone. Thomas is a sell-high candidate and maybe you can flip him to someone who needs to fill a bye week with Sam LaPorta<\/a>, Evan Engram<\/a>, and George Kittle<\/a> on a bye.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bonus Sell – Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR: Seattle Seahawks)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Don\u2019t look now, but the rookie has consecutive games with a touchdown. However, he\u2019s only got one game over 50 yards<\/a> receiving and one game with five receptions. Jaxon Smith-Njigba<\/a> is passing the eye test but still remains the third option in the passing pecking order. A % target share isn\u2019t ideal and still has to compete with DK Metcalf<\/a> and Tyler Lockett for targets. He\u2019ll have his boom weeks, but he\u2019s not to be trusted on a week-to-week basis. Sell high while the game-winning touchdown is still fresh on the brain.<\/span><\/p>\n
