There are not many DraftKings DFS bargains to be had on Monday night, truth be told. The Raiders were missing 11 players in Week 7 and the Lions had 15 dealing with injuries last time round. The Raiders are allowing an average of 23 points per game and while the Lions are having a very different season, they\u2019re allowing 21.6 points on average themselves.<\/span> No team has lost as many turnovers as the Raiders have so far though, so the Lions are rightly favored to win this game despite the Raiders’ recent victories over the Packers and Patriots.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Monday Night DraftKings bargains<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The DraftKings DFS “It’s Time to Shine” Pick – Jameson Williams<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Williams has missed 15 games in his very young career so far. He\u2019s recovered from a brutal knee injury and has been suspended for violating the league\u2019s bamboozling betting regulations but now he\u2019s back. And with Marvin Jones III being forced to step away from the team to tend to family issues he\u2019s very much needed.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He started his first game of the season last week and got skunked as he blew the cobwebs away. Wiliams saw six targets but didn\u2019t manage to catch any of them. This week he should line up opposite Marcus Peters<\/a>. Peters has allowed 30 completions from 46 targets after he signed on late in the offseason. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Blindingly Obvious Pick – Jahmyr Gibbs<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Hit a top speed of 20.7 mph<\/a> last week, finally flashing some of the explosion he was famed for in Alabama. Gibbs\u2019 6.2 yards per carry against the Ravens was a career high and his 20 touches in David Montgomery\u2019s absence was also a new record.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Only three teams have allowed more rushing yards than the Raiders have in 2023. And only three teams have rushed for more yards than the Lions have thus far. If Craig Reynolds is still struggling with an injury and Montgomery isn\u2019t back to full fitness Gibbs will have plenty of chances to shine.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The DraftKings DFS “He Must Be Due” Pick – Josh Reynolds<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Raiders defensive backfield has given up nine passing touchdowns. And only seven teams have allowed more yards after the catch in 2023, they\u2019ve already missed 43 tackles this season.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reynolds has only made five catches in the last two games, but he still has a 12.4% target share. The Raiders gave up 323 receiving yards to Bears rookie Tyson Bagent last week, so this should be a good \u201cget right\u201d game for Reynolds.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The DraftKings DFS Promising Rookie Michael Mayer<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Notre Dame tight end Mayer looks like the most athletic player on the Raiders roster (Maxx Crosby might not agree). But they still haven\u2019t managed to get him a touchdown catch yet. He\u2019s averaging 12,9 yards per catch though, so he doesn\u2019t need many targets to rack up the yards.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Only the Jets have given up more touchdowns to tight ends than the Lions this season. They\u2019re also allowing 15.8 points per game to the position.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DraftKings DFS Desperation Pick – DeAndre Carter<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

This is where we get to the \u201cdesperate optimism\u201d part of the bargains. Carter hasn\u2019t really settled into the clunky Raiders offense yet. He\u2019s only seen five targets all season and he only managed to catch two of them. But he is averaging 10.5 yards per reception. Carter has had 24 touches of the ball in 2023 and he\u2019s averaging 6 yards per touch, if the Raiders can actually get him in some space, he\u2019s always got a chance to take it the distance.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
