One week a player can be on top of the world after a multi-touchdown game, then flop the next. Finding the consistent players that’ll help you win each week is the key to getting into the fantasy playoffs. We’re about at the midway point, so it’s crucial to rack up the wins down the stretch. There’s nothing worse than one of your stud fantasy players putting up a dud when you need the points. Identify those players before it’s too late. Here are your week 7 players to buy and sell.

Fantasy Football Week 7 Buy and Sell Targets

Players to Buy

Isiah Pacheco (RB: Kansas City Chiefs)

Once a three-headed mess, the Kansas City Chiefs have appeared to hand the full-time gig to Isiah Pacheco. He’s played 59% or more of the snaps in three consecutive weeks and four weeks with 13+ fantasy points. Pacheco is dominating the running back touches too. He has more targets, receptions, and receiving yards than teammate Jerick McKinnon. Pacheco has also handled 70% of the running back carries. The involvement is promising and volume is key for fantasy players. He’s a great RB2 for any roster.

[metabet_core_side_odds_tile query=”nfl/isiah_pacheco/player_91765″ size=”350×300″ site_id=”lastwordonsports”]

Chris Godwin (WR: Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Sometimes in fantasy football, you just want a good solid consistent player. You have your studs and your point-getters, but sometimes that flex player constantly dishing out double digits each week is just as important. Chris Godwin has one game under five receptions and 10 fantasy points this season (week 3 vs the Eagles). Godwin has yet to find the endzone, but his time is coming. He’s playing close to his floor right now and he’s going to explode one of these weeks. However, Engram has bypassed all expectations. He’s averaging 7.3 targets per game and tied second on the team with a 21% target share. Currently sitting at TE6 on the season, his role is secure, and remains in a high-volume passing offense. Once upon a time, he was a sell, but now he’s a screaming buy.

Bonus Buy – Rashee Rice (WR: Kansas City)

Let’s do another Kansas City Chiefs player. Don’t look now, but the rookie is second on the team in targets (28), receptions (21), receiving yards (245) and receiving touchdowns (2). Since week 3, Rashee Rice has been averaging 5.3 targets a game and has looked like the most explosive pass catcher on the team, outside of Travis Kelce. Having a trusty target of Patrick Mahomes is a good thing. He’s rostered in 55% of leagues, so maybe he’s still floating on the waiver wire. If not, go see if you can buy low before he completely takes over.

Players to Sell

Raheem Mostert (RB: Miami Dolphins)

Raheem Mostert is going Bananas. He currently leads all non-quarterback players in total touchdowns with 11. Mostert is a sell high while he’s the only healthy running back on Miami’s roster. De’Von Achane and Jeff Wilson will be back eventually eating into his workload then Mostert’s value will come crashing down. Currently at RB2, his stock will never be higher. If you can sell and flip him for another top-15 running back cemented in his starting role, you should.

Davante Adams (WR: Las Vegas Raiders)

Let’s make one thing clear, Davante Adams is still one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. This has nothing to do with him or his talent. It has everything to do with the quarterback and the playcalling. Over the last two weeks, Adams has six receptions on nine targets and hasn’t had a touchdown since week 3. Adams should be a target hog every week, but the lack of usage recently is concerning. If you can sell him for another top receiver tied to a better quarterback, put your mental state at ease and just do it.

TE – Gerald Everett

Gerald Everett should be an easy sell to your league mates. He plays on a high-volume passing offense, is tied to Justin Herbert, and plays one of the thinnest positions in fantasy football. Tight ends who have a touchdown game are always coveted. The reason to sell? This was Everett’s first game over 10 points this season and is averaging 4 targets a game. Teammate Donald Parham seems to be the redzone target when they get close to the goal line as he already has three touchdowns on the season. Sell high if you can, someone in your league has got to be desperate for a “productive” tight end.

Do yourself a favor. Did you hear that Jameson Williams caught a 45-yard touchdown this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? That’s great, awesome. Happy for him. Although, since his return from suspension, he’s got six targets for four receptions and 55 yards. Outside of his long touchdown, Williams has three receptions for 10 yards-Yikes! Jameson Williams has a huge fan following amongst fantasy managers, you should be able to cash in and sell him while they’re still reminiscing.

Main Photo: Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

It’s almost the midway point in the fantasy football schedule.
