A quarter of the NFL season has passed and we\u2019re starting to get an idea of who the contenders are. Just like in your fantasy football leagues, there are a few stacked teams looking unstoppable. Go out and make a trade or two to swing the momentum back in your favor. Even if your season hasn\u2019t started off too hot, there’s plenty of time to change course with a winning streak. The first step is figuring out which players you need to sell from your roster and buy from others. These are some trade targets you need to acquire before Week 5.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fantasy Football Week 5 Buy and Sell Targets<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Players to Buy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Travis Etienne (RB: Jacksonville Jaguars)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Leading up to the season, the drum for Tank Bigsby<\/a> was loud and many fantasy analysts were projecting a close split in touches between him and Travis Etienne<\/a>. Through four games, that could be further from the truth. Etienne has dominated the running back touches in Jacksonville<\/a> 83 to 12. He’s also played over 70% of the snaps in every game so far. There are very few backs in the league getting the volume Etienne is and well worth the high price tag. After a \u201cbad\u201d week with only 10.2 fantasy points, his price tag could be cheaper, so go buy Travis Etienne if you can.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jakobi Meyers (WR: Las Vegas Raiders)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Very few players have a target share greater than 30% while playing with their starting quarterback. Well, Jakobi Meyers<\/a> is one of the players to achieve this feat. What makes this even more impressive is he\u2019s doing it alongside Davante Adams<\/a>. In the two games with Jimmy Garoppolo<\/a> this season, Jakobi Meyers had 16 receptions, 166 yards, and 2 touchdowns on 22 targets. He boomed for 29.1 and 15.5 PPR fantasy points and controlled a 31% target share when suited up together. It may be a small sample size, but targets stick and there are not many options to count on in the Raiders passing attack. Take this \u201cdown\u201d week with Aidan O\u2019Connell<\/a> and buy Jakobi Meyers. He offers top-12 upside and a safe floor with the sheer amount of targets he consumes with Jimmy Garroppolo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jonnu Smith (TE: Atlanta Falcons)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Let\u2019s be honest here, there aren’t many tight ends to buy. You either have a top guy that you\u2019re not trading whatsoever or have a struggling veteran you\u2019re not going to get fair compensation. So, instead, I\u2019d like to highlight a player who could be climbing up the tight rankings. Jonnu Smith is likely hiding in the waiver wire in your league, so it\u2019d only cost you some FAAB money, but he\u2019s worth a roster spot in all leagues.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the past three weeks, Jonnu Smith has 15 receptions on 20 targets with 32.9 PPR fantasy points. During that span, he\u2019s the TE8 and tied 6th among all tight ends in targets. Overall, Smith has a 17% target share, which is currently 4th on the team. The Atlanta Falcons<\/a> don\u2019t have too many pass-catching options and refuse to use talents Drake London<\/a> and Kyle Pitts<\/a> appropriately. The way Arthur Smith<\/a> operates his offense, Jonnu Smith will remain a \u201chigh\u201d volume threat. Add, or buy, him if you can.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bonus Buy – Devon Achane (RB: Miami Dolphins)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Regarding the Miami Dolphins<\/a> backfield, there is a slight chance it could get messy when Jeff Wilson<\/a> returns from injured reserve. However, both Raheem Mostert<\/a> and Wilson are wily veterans who shouldn\u2019t stand in the way of the rookie. Devon Achane<\/a> is the young buck shining with limited touches. Over the last two weeks, he\u2019s had 33 touches and averaged 10.69 yards per touch. He\u2019s finished with 51.30 and 27 fantasy points in back-to-back games as well. Achane\u2019s workload should continue to increase and you should buy him if you can.<\/span><\/p>\n
