If Aaron Rodgers was healthy this would be a very interesting matchup. But he isn\u2019t and it\u2019s not. It\u2019s going to be a game even a mother couldn\u2019t love. The Jets’ pass defense has been pretty ugly in 2023, even Sauce Gardner is allowing his opponents to complete 83.3% of their passes. According to DraftKings DFS statistics, the Jets defense is ranked 30<\/span>th<\/span> against tight ends. The Chiefs are going to have to be seriously off their game for the Jets to make this a game.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 4 Sunday Night DraftKings DFS picks<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Out Of Leftfield DraftKings DFS Choice – Chiefs Defense\/ Special Teams<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Okay, no Nick Bolton is an issue<\/a>, especially if the Jets stick to the run game instead of hoping Zach Wilson will instantly become Aaron Rodgers (spoiler alert, he won\u2019t). But Drue Tranquill is a very talented linebacker on both the inside and outside. Chris Jones is back after his one-week holdout, so he\u2019ll be up to full speed this week. Jaylen Watson should be healthy after a shoulder complaint and George Karlaftis III will love the Jets pass blocking. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DraftKings value the Chiefs D\/ST at $4,200 this week. Only the 49ers defense is more expensive than Steve Spagnolo\u2019s unit, but he’s guaranteed to have them scoring big points. Indeed, Breece Hall is always a homerun threat, but with the Jets’ substandard pass blocking the Chiefs should be able to create a lot of turnovers this week.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The DraftKings DFS Contrarian Choice – Jerrick McKinnon<\/span><\/h3>\n

Ok, I admit it, I\u2019m slightly obsessed with McKinnon. But anyone who watched him in the playoffs last season should be. He\u2019s behind Pacheco on the depth chart who will do most of the running into the heart of the Jets defense. McKinnon has only had 10 touches of the ball in 2023<\/a>, but if Quinnen Williams can get to Patrick Mahomes the screen game and quick passes to a back in the flat will be very effective.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

McKinnon already has two receiving touchdowns this season. He\u2019s averaging 2.3 yards per rushing attempt this season, but he averages 7.3 yards every time they pass to him.<\/span> At $4,800 on DraftKings, he’s a bargain.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mahomes’ New Favorite DraftKings DFS Choice – Rashee Rice<\/span><\/h3>\n

Rookie Rice<\/a> has been one of Patrick Mahomes favorite targets in 2023 but despite that, he\u2019s still surprisingly cheap. Only Kelce<\/a> has seen more looks from Patrick Mahomes this season. Rice<\/a> has dropped<\/a> three passes already this season but the seven first downs he\u2019s picked up leads Chiefs receivers’, so Mahomes still trusts him in important situations.<\/span> Not many receivers who cost $3,600 have seen more targets than the rest of their receiving corps.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Longshot Who Could Go Off Choice – Justin Watson<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

He\u2019s a boom-or-bust kind of receiver, if you\u2019re feeling lucky, he\u2019s just the man for you. His blazing speed makes him a deep threat whenever he\u2019s on the field but he\u2019s never the most efficient receiver on the field.<\/span> But five receivers cost more than him and none have his upside. Watson is just $3,500 on DraftKings this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

The average \u201cdepth of target\u201d for passes to Watson in 2023 is 22.7 yards. So, he only needs to haul in four catches to have an impact. He\u2019s averaging four targets per game too. He caught 59% of his 2023 targets through.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The Real Longshot Who Is Virtually Free Choice – Blake Bell <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Now, a lot needs to happen to make this successful, but just hear me out. Travis Kelce is still coming back from a bone bruise, which is a lot more painful than he\u2019s making it look. His main backup Noah Gray did not practice on Wednesday because, the team says, he was suffering from an illness. That makes him questionable for the game.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When Bell was given a chance in Week 1, he caught two of his three targets. And even though he ended the game with 12 receiving yards he caught a touchdown<\/a>. Bell might be a handy flex if you trust Kelce at TE.<\/span> And he’s cheap too, at just $2,500 on DraftKings he’s $700 cheaper than Tyler Conklin.<\/span><\/p>\n
