There are two games on Monday Night this week and between the four teams involved, there\u2019s really only one standout player \u2013 Chris Olave. So, he\u2019ll be expensive, putting a dent in your DraftKings DFS budget. But who could be a bargain with plenty of upside? <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Contrarian Plays That Might Just Work<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

DraftKings DFS Underdog – Jerome Ford <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Nick Chubb is obviously the straw that stirs the drink for the Browns’ offense, but the 49ers ran all over the Steelers’ defense last week. And Cam Heyward is out for the home team this week. The best way to negate the Steelers’ wrecking ball that is TJ Watt is to run, run, and then run some more.<\/span>\u00a0 And if the Browns put this one to bed early too garbage time is definitely Ford’s friend.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ford<\/a> had 15 carries in Week 1 and while he wasn\u2019t exactly a stud, he wasn\u2019t playing against a defense who allowed 188 yards the previous week.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DraftKings DFS Obvious Pick – Donovan Peoples-Jones<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

It is hard to believe the Steelers will be as terrible in Week 2\u00a0as they were last week, but until they prove they won\u2019t let\u2019s just go with it. Peoples-Jones should line up opposite Patrick Peterson on Monday Night Football. Peterson gave up 3 completions for 43 yards last time out. And 2 of those completions resulted in touchdowns. He was absolutely roasted by Brandon Aiyuk and allowed a passer rating of 127.5 out of a possible 158.3!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Peoples-Jones<\/a> is 2 inches taller and 4lbs heavier than Aiyuk (who is 6 feet tall and weighs 200lbs) so Peterson\u2019s season doesn\u2019t appear to be getting any easier. If Peterson doesn\u2019t fare any better early in Week 2, he could be replaced by Joey Porter Jr. And as exciting as that would be, Peoples-Jones still stands a decent shot against a rookie, even a very talented one.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DraftKings DFS Ubiquitous Pick – Browns Defense<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Matt Canada\u2019s offense looked even clunkier than everyone expected against the 49ers. And the Bengals could only manage 67 passing yards against the Browns defense last week. The Browns also only let the Bengals rush for 75 yards and score 3 points! Mike Schwartz might not be very good at handshakes<\/a>, but his defense might be for real in Cleveland.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DraftKings DFS Long Shot – Hayden Hurst<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Panthers offense was a little scratchy last week. Laviska Shenault<\/a> only got four touches of the ball, so that might have had something to do with it. Maybe Frank Reich will mix it up a bit this week so Bryce Young is playing against a more discombobulated defense?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But if he doesn\u2019t Hayden Hurst is going to be the pressure valve for a young quarterback playing against a defense who made three sacks, forced two fumbles, and took an interception last week. Hurst was Young\u2019s top target in Week 1 with 5 catches on 7 targets. He even hauled in Young\u2019s first touchdown in the big leagues.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DraftKings DFS Really, Really, Longshot – Taysom Hill<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s really difficult to pick a Saints player when they played the ickiest game imaginable against the Titans last week. There were 4 interceptions and only one 1 touchdown thrown by both quarterbacks and between them, they were sacked 7 times for 40 yards.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hill<\/span><\/a> was criminally underused by the Saints last week, he ran it three times and wasn\u2019t targeted in the passing game. It\u2019s like the coaches have forgotten how Hill fired up the offense last season.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
