Yet the loss is the least of their worries because\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JoneMa05.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mac Jones<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0suffered <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2022\/09\/26\/mac-jones-injured-in-new-england-patriots-26-37-loss-to-baltimore-ravens\/\" target=\"_self\">an ankle injury<\/a>. The good news is that it does not appear as severe as it looked. However, he is officially ruled out despite his effort, and\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HoyeBr00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Axl (Brian) Hoyer<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0will be the quarterback.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After beating Tom Brady in Tampa, 14-12, the\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/packers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Green Bay Packers\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">will now be home to face\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/coaches\/BeliBi0.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Bill Belichick&#8217;s<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Patriots. Offensively, it has been a slow start for the Packers. So far, the Patriots are averaging slightly more points per game, 16.7, than the Packers, 16.0. The Pats also win the yards per game battle, 364.7 to 355.7. However, that was with Jones at quarterback; now, it is Hoyer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Statistically, the Packers separate themselves <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2022\/09\/27\/adjusting-to-the-new-philosophy-of-the-green-bay-packers-offense\/\" target=\"_self\">with defense and fewer turnovers<\/a>. Their defense is only giving up an average of 15 points per game, and the Patriots are giving up 23.7. There is little doubt the Packers will win this game; the only question is by how much. Since they are at home and facing Hoyer, they will likely win by at least a touchdown and a field goal (10 points).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Patriots Best Bets to Consider in Week 4<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Packers -9.5<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Under 40.5<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Patriots Under 14.5 Points\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Aaron Jones Anytime TD Scorer<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Packers have not scored over 27 points so far this season, and Belichick is not about to let them do it now. He is going to muck this game up. The Packers are still likely to score 21-24 points, but the Patriots, with Hoyer, are not likely to score more than 14 points against this week&#8217;s top defense.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Start Them<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Aaron Rodgers<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If you have\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RodgAa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Rodgers<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, you are starting him and hoping for his upside.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Aaron Jones<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JoneAa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jones<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0is a must-start in all leagues. He does face a good run defense, but his pass-catching ability is a game changer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A.J. Dillon<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DillAJ00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Dillon<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0is a solid flex play. It depends on your roster, though.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Packer Defense\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Packers are the top-ranked defense this week and a must-start in all leagues.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Damien Harris\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HarrDa06.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Harris<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0is a solid flex option. He has been running hard, but he does not get enough opportunities. The Patriots have had to push the ball down the field, and he is splitting carries. This week will be different, though; this could be his breakout game. The Patriots will likely run the ball often without Mac Jones to keep this game close.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Rhamondre Stevenson\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/StevRh00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Stevenson<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0is another solid flex option, and he had more points than Harris last week. He runs like a beast that is trying to break free. He should be stashed on a roster but not worthy of a start yet. Especially now that Hoyer is his quarterback. Parker does not have full command of the offense yet, and we need to see more before we start him.
