At Buffalo Bills, Week 18.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the past two matchups between these teams, the Patriots could not stop the Bills offense, literally. The Bills never punted in either game, and that was when the Patriots had star cornerback\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JackJ.00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">J.C. Jackson<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0on the roster. The Patriots hope to fill that void this season by bringing\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/ButlMa01.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Malcolm Butler<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0out of retirement and adding veteran\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MitcTe00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Terrance Mitchell<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. So, stopping\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AlleJo02.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Josh Allen<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0from finding\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DiggSt00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Stefon Diggs<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DaviGa01.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Gabriel Davis<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/K\/KnoxDa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Dawson Knox<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> will be their most daunting challenge and this will be their most difficult game.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">2. Buffalo Bills, Week 13<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After a strong offseason, the Bills are the favorite to win the Super Bowl. They added\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MillVo00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Von Miller<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, had a strong draft where they invested on defense and will get back star cornerback\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WhitTr01.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Tre&#8217;Davious White<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, returning from a torn ACL. The Bills only improved. Meanwhile, the Patriots appear to have taken a step backward defensively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Patriots will be looking for payback in the season&#8217;s first meeting with their division rivals. However, the Bills would also like payback for all the years the Patriots dynasties dominated the division. Now the Bills are poised to dominate for the foreseeable future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">3. Cincinnati Bengals, Week 16, (Christmas Eve)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As conference champions and Super Bowl contenders, the Bengals will be coming into Gillette Stadium with a lot of confidence on Christmas Eve. They have improved their offensive line by signing free agents\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/K\/KarrTe00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ted Karras<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CappAl00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Alex Cappa<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. Defensively, they drafted Daxton Hill in the first round, and he projects as an impact player at corner, nickel, or safety.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BurrJo01.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Joe Burrow<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/ChasJa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ja&#8217;Marr Chase<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HiggTe00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Tee Higgins<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BoydTy00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Tyler Boyd<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MixoJo00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Joe Mixon<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> are a tough matchup for any defense, but it is a nightmare for a team without a shutdown corner. The Patriots will likely have to play zone a lot, which does not bode well. They will be giving up many short throws not to get beat deep. However, the Bengals receivers and Mixon will be tough to tackle after the catch, and the defense will not have time to get to Burrow. So, the Patriots have their work cut out in their third most difficult game.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">4. At Green Bay Packers, Week 4<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Heading into Lambeau Field to face\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RodgAa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Aaron Rodgers\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and the Packers is daunting. Even though they replaced\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AdamDa01.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Davante Adams<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0with\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WatkSa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sammy Watkins<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, the Packers have the same odds (+1000) as the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. The oddsmakers clearly believe in the power of having an elite quarterback.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Rodgers still has some good players around him. Running back\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JoneAa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Aaron Jones<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, who can catch passes, is likely their best weapon and will see his volume increased. He also has\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/L\/LazaAl00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Allen Lazard<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CobbRa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Randall Cobb<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/TonyRo00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Robert Tonyan<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0to throw to, and they have good chemistry. Defensively, they drafted some firepower out of Georgia with both first-round picks; linebacker Quay Walker and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt. They will likely make an impact in this game.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">5. Indianapolis Colts, Week 9<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Last season the Colts had a weak passing game, but now they have a solid quarterback, <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RyanMa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Matt Ryan<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. The Patriots will not be able to load the box to stop the run because they will have to respect the passing game, making the Colts running back,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/TaylJo02.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jonathan Taylor<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, even more dangerous.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Defensively, they added\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GilmSt00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Stephon Gilmore<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0to an already stout defense. He will likely put the &#8220;Gilly Lock&#8221; on either\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/ParkDe01.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Devante Parker<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0or\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AghoNe00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Nelson Agholor<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. Meanwhile, the Patriots will have to keep defensive end\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/PayeKw00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Kwity Paye<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and linebacker\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/L\/LeonDa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Darius Leanord\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">off\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JoneMa05.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mac Jones<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. Hopefully, the Patriots new offensive coordinator will have some tricks up his sleeve.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">6. At the Cleveland Browns, Week 6<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Assuming\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WatsDe00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Deshaun Watson<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0plays, the Browns at home will be another difficult matchup for the Patriots. Watson will have\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CoopAm00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Amari Cooper<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0as his top receiver now, and he will be tougher to cover than ever. One reason is that Watson is the best quarterback he will have ever played with, and also Watson&#8217;s ability to buy more time for his receivers to get open.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If the passing game is not going right, Watson can take off running, and the Patriots will struggle to catch him.\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The running backs,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/ChubNi00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Nick Chubb\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HuntKa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Kareem Hunt<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, were already hard to tackle, and now they will have more room to run because defenses have to respect the passing game. This is going to be a sneaky hard game on the road.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">7. Baltimore Ravens, Week 3<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Even though the Ravens lost\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BrowMa04.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Marquise Brown<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, the oddsmakers still have a lot of respect for the Ravens. They still have a potent team with\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JackLa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Lamar Jackson<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AndrMa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mark Andrews<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, a strong running game, solid defense, and a good coach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Bill Belichick&#8217;s defensive schemes have slowed down Jackson in the past and helped the Patriots beat the Ravens. They will have to do that without a shutdown corner, and luckily they can manage without one against the Ravens.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">8. At the Miami Dolphins, Week 1<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Anyone who has been to Florida in September knows how hot and humid the weather can be. Playing a football game in that weather is hard for people that are not acclimated, like the Patriots. There will likely be IVs, heat exhaustion, dehydration, and cramps.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If the weather is not brutal enough for the Patriots, they will also have to contain\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HillTy00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Tyreek Hill<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WaddJa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jaylen Waddle<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. They had a hard time beating this team without Hill; they lost both games against the Dolphins last season.\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/coaches\/FlorBr0.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Brian Flores<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0was a big part of those wins, and even though he is not there, this team will still be a problem for the Patriots. The new coach,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/coaches\/McDaMi0.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mike McDaniel<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0is no slouch; he has been around the league for 17 years. He is offensive-minded and will likely be a great head coach.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">9. At the Las Vegas Raiders, Week 15<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Patriots will visit old friend\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/coaches\/McDaJo0.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Josh McDaniels<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and his revamped Raiders, but it will not be a friendly game. The Raiders offense will be hard to stop since they have added\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AdamDa01.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Davante Adams<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0to an already potent offense. Defensively, they added another old friend who is a sack monster,\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JoneCh03.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Chandler Jones<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.
