The 2022 off-season for the NFC South found a way to be eventful even with minimal actual moves happening. With the return of Tom Brady, the\u00a0<\/span>Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/span>\u00a0solidified themselves as the betting favorite in the division. That news has done nothing to stop the\u00a0<\/span>New Orleans Saints<\/span>\u00a0and their aggressive approach to team-building. While they may not win the division, the Saints are still pushing for a seat at the table after barely missing the playoffs last season. While both the\u00a0<\/span>Atlanta Falcons<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Carolina Panthers<\/span> are in re-build mode, somehow, in different ways. Let\u2019s see how these situations played out as we hand out draft grades for the NFC South.<\/span><\/p>\n

2022 NFL Draft Grades: NFC South<\/span><\/h2>\n

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B+<\/span><\/h3>\n

Players Added: DL\u00a0Logan Hall<\/a>, OT Luke Goedeke, RB\u00a0Rachaad White<\/a>, TE\u00a0Cade Otton<\/a>, P Jake Camarda, CB Zyon McCollum, TE Ko Kieft, EDGE Andre Anthony<\/em><\/p>\n

Coming into the draft, the core\u00a0<\/span>needs<\/span><\/a>\u00a0for the Bucs to address were the defensive tackle and offensive guard positions. They didn\u2019t have many. They were a couple of plays away from advancing past the eventual Super Bowl champion,\u00a0<\/span>Los Angeles Rams<\/span><\/a>. But with the band essentially coming back for one last run with Brady, Tampa Bay was in the market looking for those missing pieces to give Brady his eighth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bucs did just that with their first two picks. Logan Hall is a potential steal that will come in and compete for the starting position, especially with Ndamukong Suh\u2019s future in question. Hall\u2019s versatility and strength will give Bowles a fun chess piece to work with for years to come. After trading up with the\u00a0<\/span>Buffalo Bills<\/span><\/a>, they took their guy Luke Goedeke from Central Michigan. An athletic tight-end-turned-offensive-lineman that will be able to compete for the left guard position early.<\/span><\/p>\n
