There were high scoring games, great individual plays, and unpredictable busts. The first Sunday of the NFL season produced seven victories by road teams. Welcome back NFL, we truly missed you.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a quick look at yesterday&#8217;s game. Is it time to panic? \u00a0Will your first round pick bounce back? Backup <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/StarJa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">James Starks<\/a><\/strong> only had four carries, one more than Cobb. No 50-50 backfield time share in Green Bay. Nelson played his first game since 2014 and leads the team in targets with nine, while grabbing a touchdown. Cobb is always more productive when Nelson plays, and led Green Bay in receiving yards.\u00a0Thomas\u00a0was incredibly efficient for <strong>Jacksonville<\/strong>, totaling five catches on five targets with\u00a0a touchdown. Robinson owners are panicking, but fifteen targets from quarterback <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BortBl00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Blake Bortles<\/a> should calm their nerves. Yeldon had a touchdown, but a 1.9 average on 21 carries is a major cause for concern. The Packers needed to honor the pass, yet\u00a0the Jaguars still couldn&#8217;t run effectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Denver vs. Carolina:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Denver wins 21-20<br \/>\n<strong>Fantasy Stock up:<\/strong> <strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AndeC.00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">C.J. Anderson looks to be a true running back bell cow in a league with very few. His 20 carries and four receptions produced two touchdowns. Green had a wide open touchdown batted away at the last second by Carolina defensive lineman\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/E\/EalyKo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kony Ealy<\/a><\/strong>. The rumor of a snap count for Benjamin was a hoax, since he\u00a0was arguably the best player on the field with 12 targets. Olsen was the <strong>Panthers<\/strong> most efficient receiver with seven receptions on nine targets. Do not be deterred by Stewart&#8217;s low fantasy output. He had 15 carries and a 4.3 yard average on the road against a strong Denver defense. Thomas elicited concern from fantasy owners during the game, and especially <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedenverchannel.com\/sports\/broncos\/broncos-demaryius-thomas-will-get-second-opinion-on-hip-injury-according-to-report\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">when a report surfaced on a potential hip injury.<\/a>\u00a0Regardless, with Siemian as the quarterback, the game script will definitely reduce Thomas&#8217; opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baltimore vs. Buffalo:<\/strong>\u00a0 Baltimore wins 13-7<br \/>\n<strong>Fantasy Stock up:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McCoLe01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LeSean McCoy<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WallMi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Wallace<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/F\/FlacJo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joe Flacco<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?search=Steve+Smith&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Steve Smith<\/a> Sr.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relax about<\/strong>&#8230;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WatkSa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sammy Watkins<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Be concerned about&#8230;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AikeKa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kamar Aiken<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skinny:<\/strong> The best fantasy result from this game was watching McCoy get the goal line carries. This should lead to a top five running back season. Wallace proved he still has the speed and will be a deep weapon for Baltimore. Flacco played well in his first game back from injury, and was an efficient 23 of 34 with no interceptions. Ravens wide receiver who was targeted the most? Steve Smith Sr. with nine. If that trend continues he will be a steal where he was drafted. The <strong>Ravens<\/strong> play tough defensively at home, so Watkins low production (four catches for 43 yards) should not be a concern. However, Aiken is in a crowded receiving group, and was behind Wallace, Perriman and Smith this week. This is a big concern moving forward.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Houston vs. Chicago:<\/strong>\u00a0 Houston\u00a0wins 23-14<br \/>\n<strong>Fantasy Stock up:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MillLa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lamar Miller<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/F\/FullWi01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Will Fuller<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/L\/LangJe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jeremy Langford<\/a>, <\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/O\/OsweBr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brock Osweiler<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relax about<\/strong>&#8230;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HopkDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeAndre Hopkins<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Be concerned about&#8230;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WhitKe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kevin White<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skinny:<\/strong> \u00a0Miller may have the most secure position in fantasy football. He carried the ball 28 times for 106 yards, and caught all four of his targets. Backup <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BlueAl00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alfred Blue<\/a><\/strong> had one single carry. Fuller impressed with a team high 11 targets for over 100 yards and a touchdown. Langford was not efficient (3.4 yards per carry) but productive (touchdown). Osweiler played well in his Houston debut, and will at least be equal to Hopkins&#8217; quarterbacks from last season. That should make this game (54 yards and a touchdown) be the floor for Hopkins during most of the season. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RoyaEd00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eddie Royal<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s touchdown should concern Kevin White owners. Having not played all of last season, the predraft expectations may prove to have been\u00a0too lofty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Philadelphia vs. Cleveland:<\/strong>\u00a0 Philadelphia\u00a0wins\u00a029-10<br \/>\n<strong>Fantasy Stock up:<\/strong>\u00a0 <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MattJo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jordan Matthews<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MathRy00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ryan Mathews<\/a>, <\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/PryoTe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Terrelle Pryor<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relax about<\/strong>&#8230;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JohnDu00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Duke Johnson<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Be concerned about&#8230;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BarnGa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gary Barnidge<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skinny:<\/strong> \u00a0Matthews proved to be a weapon for <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WentCa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carson Wentz<\/a><\/strong> in the slot (14 targets), and should be a nice fantasy play every week. Mathews has a hold on the lead running back job, and should get some receptions in future games. Pryor looked very impressive, and with <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GordJo02.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Josh Gordon<\/a><\/strong> out for three more games, he should be no worse than a WR3 the next few games. Johnson\u00a0underachieved in a game script that made the Browns pass often. Head coach <strong>Hue Jackson<\/strong> will recognize that and adjust. Barnidge with only two targets and no receptions? Could last season be a one hit wonder for the soon to be 31 year old?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Atlanta vs. Tampa Bay:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Tampa Bay wins 31-24<br \/>\n<strong>Fantasy Stock up:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WinsJa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jameis Winston<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?search=Mike+Evans&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Evans<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SimsCh00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Charles Sims<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/ColeTe01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tevin Coleman<\/a>, <\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SanuMo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mohamed Sanu<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relax about<\/strong>&#8230;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JackVi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vincent Jackson<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Be concerned about&#8230;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/F\/FreeDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Devonta Freeman<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skinny:<\/strong> \u00a0Winston was superb against a <strong>Falcons<\/strong> secondary that was very strong in 2015. Evans had 99 yards, a touchdown, and was overthrown in the end zone while wide open.\u00a0Sims is an underrated fantasy weapon, and would be a top ten running back if Martin gets injured. Coleman looked great all around, and is a valuable receiver out of the backfield. Sanu could be on his way to a career season playing opposite<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JoneJu02.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Julio Jones<\/a><\/strong>. If Winston stays productive, Jackson will get his receptions. He looked great in the preseason. After a poor ending to 2015 combined with Coleman&#8217;s strong game, the concern about Freeman is very real. His second round average draft position <strong>(ADP)<\/strong> may prove to be absurd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tennessee vs. Minnesota:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Minnesota wins 25-16<br \/>\n<strong>Fantasy Stock up:<\/strong>\u00a0 <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DiggSt00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stefon Diggs<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MurrDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeMarco Murray<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SharTa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tajae Sharpe<\/a>, <\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RudoKy00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kyle Rudolph<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relax about<\/strong>&#8230;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MattRi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rishard Matthews<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Be concerned about&#8230;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?search=Adrian+Peterson&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adrian Peterson<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skinny:<\/strong> \u00a0With <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HillSh00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shaun Hill<\/a><\/strong> at quarterback, Diggs still impressed with 103 yards on a team high nine targets. Murray was all over the field, and shocked everyone with seven receiving targets. He was a very polarizing preseason player, but looked tremendous in week one. Sharpe continued his hot preseason by leading the Titans with 11\u00a0targets. \u00a0Nice to see Rudolph get some looks as he may be the second pass receiving weapon for Minnesota. Both running backs caught five passes on five targets. Gore heated up in the second half and still proves to the be the main (and only) running back of significance for Indianapolis. Moncrief and Dorsett combined for 158 yards and ten receptions. While this is a positive for those respective fantasy owners, it is a big negative for Hilton.
