In that vein, and with a bit of a twist,\u00a0here is the first installment of &#8220;100 Fantasy Football Facts.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here\u00a0are 100\u00a0completely true fantasy statistics that will surprise and confuse fantasy football fanatics. The facts may or may not lead to the obvious conclusion, but the goal is to keep the\u00a0fantasy football mind racing.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s one thing to have a grasp of analytics, but it\u2019s another thing entirely to use those numbers as building blocks to some higher truth.<\/p>\n<p>The debate will remain: does the data lead to the proper conclusion?<\/p>\n<p>Here are 100 facts to give the dedicated fantasy football junkies something to chew over in the off-season.<\/p>\n<p>(All statistical information was taken from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.playerprofiler.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PlayerProfiler<span class=\"skimlinks-unlinked\">.com<\/span><\/a>.)<\/p>\n<h2>Looking to 2017: 100 Fantasy Football Facts<\/h2>\n<h3>WR\u00a0Red Zone Thieves<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Oakland wide receiver <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RobeSe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Seth Roberts<\/a><\/strong> received 21 red zone targets last season. That was more than <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/F\/FitzLa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Larry Fitzgerald<\/a><\/strong> (20), <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=EvanMi20,EvanMi00,EvanMi21&amp;search=Mike+Evans&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Evans<\/a><\/strong> (19), and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=BrowAn04,BrowAn01&amp;search=Antonio+Brown&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Antonio Brown<\/a><\/strong> (15).<\/li>\n<li>Roberts had 397 receiving yards which ranked 88th among all NFL wide receivers.<\/li>\n<li>Oakland quarterback <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CarrDe02.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Derek Carr<\/a><\/strong> ranked fifth among all quarterbacks in Red Zone pass attempts despite missing one game.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CrabMi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michael Crabtree<\/a><\/strong> is considered the top red zone target for Carr. He ranked seventh among all wide receivers in red zone receptions with 12. This was more than<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BaldDo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Doug Baldwin<\/a><\/strong> (11) and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BeckOd00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Odell Beckham<\/a> Jr.<\/strong> (11).<\/li>\n<li>Crabtree, however, had less red zone receptions than Detroit&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BoldAn00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anquan Boldin<\/a><\/strong>, who ranked second among all wide receivers with 15.<\/li>\n<li>Detroit quarterback <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/StafMa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matthew Stafford<\/a><\/strong> has averaged 631 pass attempts in each of the last <em>seven<\/em> years.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BoldAn00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anquan Boldin<\/a>&#8216;s ADP (Average Draft Position) was 174.6 last season, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RobeSe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Seth Roberts<\/a> went undrafted in most leagues.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Name that Running Back<\/h3>\n<p>8. There are only two NFL running backs to average over 50 red zone carries over the last two seasons. Both played in the Super Bowl LI.<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0 Player A had 103 red zone carries over the last two seasons, Player B had 102 red zone carries over the last two seasons.<\/p>\n<p>10.\u00a0 Player A averaged 4.0 yards per carry against Base Front defenses. Player B averaged 4.9 yards per carry against Base Front defenses.<\/p>\n<p>11. Player A had 220 total fantasy points, but only seven receptions. Player B had 218 fantasy points with\u00a054 receptions.<\/p>\n<p>12.\u00a0 Player A tied for seventh with 11 runs of 15 yards or more. Player B was fifth with 14 runs of 15 yards or more.<\/p>\n<p>13.\u00a0 Player A will be 31 years old next year. Player B will be 25 years old.<\/p>\n<p>14.\u00a0 Player A had an ADP of 113.7. \u00a0Player B had an ADP of 19.2. <em>Both<\/em>\u00a0are being underdrafted.<\/p>\n<p>15. Right behind him at 6.1 yards per carry? Again, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/L\/LacyEd00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eddie Lacy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>25. \u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MontTy01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ty Montgomery<\/a>&#8216;s<\/strong> yards per carry against base defenses? 0.8 yards per carry.<\/p>\n<p>26. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MontTy01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ty Montgomery<\/a>&#8216;s yards per carry against light front defenses? 6.6 yards per carry. \u00a0Lacy averaged 4.2 yards per carry in the same situations.<\/p>\n<p>27. \u00a0Against a stacked defensive front, both <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WashDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeAndre Washington<\/a> <\/strong>(6.3) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RichJa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jalen Richard<\/a> (6.0) averaged over 6.0 yards per carry.<\/p>\n<p>28. <strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MurrLa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Latavius Murray<\/a><\/strong> averaged 4.2 yards per carry against stacked defensive fronts and 3.7 yards per carry against base defensive fronts.<\/p>\n<p>29. \u00a0Washington (5.6) and Richard (5.8) both averaged over 5.0 yards per carry against base defensive fronts.<\/p>\n<p>30. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MurrLa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Latavius Murray<\/a> is a free agent. \u00a0Why should the Oakland Raiders resign him?<\/p>\n<p>31. \u00a0Last year&#8217;s\u00a0top nine\u00a0running backs in Yards After Contact are not surprises: \u00a0Bell, Johnson, Ajayi, Elliott, Howard, McCoy, Hyde, Freeman, and Murray. Ranked tenth, however? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CrowIs00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Isaiah Crowell<\/a> of the Cleveland Browns.<\/p>\n<p>35. Crowell ran behind the 17th best offensive line per run blocking efficiency and is only 24 years old.<\/p>\n<p>36. There is a starting NFL running back that ranked 65th in Yards Per Carry against stacked defensive fronts, 44th in Yards Per Carry against a base front, and 64th in Yards Per Carry against light defensive fronts.<\/p>\n<p>37. This same running back ranked sixth among all running backs in total carries with 268.<\/p>\n<p>38.\u00a0 In addition, that same running back has a 96th percentile 40 yard dash time (4.40), a 97th percentile Speed Score (116.3), and an 84th percentile Agility Score (11.02).<\/p>\n<p>39. Yet this same running back ranked 57th among all running backs with only 4.3 Yards Per Touch, and 25th with only six total touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>40. Despite all of these negative statistics, this running back had a 2016 ADP of 11.5. Does this make any sense?<\/p>\n<p>41.\u00a0 That running back is Houston Texans running back <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MillLa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lamar Miller<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>The Great Seattle Debate<\/h3>\n<p>42. \u00a0Seattle Seahawks running back <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RawlTh00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Thomas Rawls<\/a><\/strong> averaged 3.6 Yards Per Touch last season (78th among all running backs.)<\/p>\n<p>43. \u00a0Seattle Seahawks running back <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/ProsC.00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">C.J.
