There are only four more weeks left in the 2021 NFL season and the bye weeks are over. For anyone still alive in an active survivor pool, here are some NFL Week 15 survivor top picks.<\/p>\n
The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> are coming off of a tough loss to the Los Angeles Rams<\/a> on Monday night, but the Detroit Lions<\/a> are 1-11-1 and have been one of the worst teams in the league all season. The Cardinals, on the other hand, have been one of the best and most consistent teams this year.<\/p>\n Arizona also has a distinct advantage at the most important position on the field, quarterback. Detroit\u2019s signal-caller, Jared Goff, is not even in the same zip code as Kyler Murray. And the Cardinals are considerably better on both sides of the ball. Their defense is ranked fourth and their offense is tied for fifth in scoring. The Lions defense is ranked 29th<\/sup> and their offense is ranked 30th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n Yes, the Cardinals are playing on a short week and DeAndre Hopkins (leg) and James Conner (ankle) were both hurt Monday, and Hopkins will miss the remainder of the regular season. But, even without Nuke the Cardinals should win easily, especially with the injuries and COVID-19 positive results that have hammered the Lions secondary.<\/p>\n The Buffalo Bills<\/a> are on a two-game skid, but their losses have come to quality teams in the New England Patriots<\/a> and Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a>. The Carolina Panthers<\/a> have lost three games in a row to three sub-.500 teams (Washington Football Team<\/a>, Miami Dolphins<\/a>, and Atlanta Falcons<\/a>) and are 2-8 in their last 10 games.<\/p>\n The Bills have a talented quarterback in Josh Allen while the Panthers aren\u2019t sure if they want Cam Newton or P.J. Walker under center. Even with Allen battling a sprained foot, he will be the superior quarterback on the field, regardless if the Panthers trot out Newton, Walker or both. The Panthers also placed their best offensive weapon, Christian McCaffrey, on injured reserve for the second time and he will miss the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n Carolina\u2019s defense has actually been pretty good this year, but they have struggled against the run and their offense has been a trainwreck. The Panthers will not be able to put up points against the Bills defense and Buffalo\u2019s offense should be able to run all over Carolina\u2019s defense.<\/p>\n True, the Dallas Cowboys<\/a> offense has not been as potent as of late. But the defense has been playing well and the New York Giants<\/a> have been terrible in 2021. In Week 5 this season the Cowboys defeated the Giants 44-20 and this week\u2019s game should see Dallas win easily yet again. The Cowboys should force multiple turnovers and put-up points against a Giants defense that is ranked 21st<\/sup> in points per game allowed.<\/p>\n [pickup_prop id=”16983″]<\/p>\n And while Daniel Jones has certainly had his struggles and he is probably not the long-term answer at quarterback, he is the best option currently on the Giants roster. But he is still not able to play (concussion\/neck) so Mike Glennon will get the start this week. This isn\u2019t a question of whether or not the Cowboys win, but whether or not they cover (currently Dallas is -10.5).<\/p>\n If the Cardinals, Bills, and Cowboys are no longer available, going with the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> on the road over the Cleveland Browns<\/a> (the Browns have been ravaged by COVID-19, including quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum, and Jadeveon Clowney who cannot play on Saturday), Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> at home over the Washington Football Team<\/a> (both Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen out due to testing positive for COVID-19), Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a> at home over the New Orleans Saints<\/a> or San Francisco 49ers<\/a> at home over the Atlanta Falcons<\/a> are viable options as well.
