The wide receiver is currently on waivers, but that doesn’t mean his career is over. Any team in the league can put in a claim, or hope he clears waivers to sign him to a cheaper contract. Either way, it’s safe to say that we will see Beckham on a football field before long. The only thing left to find out is what uniform he’ll be wearing.

[pickup_prop id=”6152″]

Top Five Odell Beckham Team Fits

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints might just have the worst group of wide receivers in the league. Sean Payton is one of the best offensive coaches in the league, but he does need a base level of talent in order to move the ball consistently. Jameis Winston and Michael Thomas are done for the year, which means that either Taysom Hill or Trevor Siemian are going to be throwing to a very underwhelming supporting cast.

Even though he’s not the player he once was, Beckham would immediately be the best weapon on this team. With no other real target competition, Beckham would earn a high percentage of the work and could help power this team to a wild card spot.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills have no shortage of weapons, but head coach Sean McDermott clearly believes there is no such thing as too much offensive firepower. Beckham is in a similar situation as former disgruntled wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Like Diggs, Beckham feels that a conservative, run-first offense didn’t play to his strengths and took away from his overall playmaking ability. Expecting Beckham to do what Diggs did in 2020 is obviously asking too much, but he could be an improvement on Emmanuel Sanders.

New England Patriots

If there’s one coach that knows how to get the most out of a talented receiver on the back end of his career, it’s Bill Belichick. Randy Moss is the obvious example, as Moss overcame three disappointing years with the Oakland Raiders to post one of the greatest seasons in NFL history. Once again, Beckham isn’t going to do that, but he could be a key piece for a surprisingly competitive New England Patriots team.

The trio of Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne, and Nelson Agholor are good enough to get the job done, but they don’t send fear into an opposing defense. Patrick Mahomes is turning the ball over like crazy, and the team finds itself with a surprising 4-4 record after eight weeks of play. Much like the Seahawks, the Chiefs have two phenomenal weapons but not much else to speak of. Perhaps adding another reliable weapon would help Mahomes feel more comfortable to take the safe decision and not have to play as much hero ball.

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr is no longer a member of the Cleveland Browns, but it shouldn’t be too hard for him to find his next team.

[28,3,16,5,32
7702,7811,7394,514,7659,7282
post-124283","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-saints","category-bills","category-chiefs","category-patriots","category-seahawks","tag-bills-featured","tag-chiefs-featured","tag-new-england-patriots-news","tag-odell-beckham-jr","tag-saints-featured","tag-seattle-seahawks-news
["GET
