With November 2nd just upon the horizon, the time is now for deals to be made. Even with Las Vegas sporting the best pass-rushing tandem in the league, you can never have enough guys to get after the quarterback. “The rich getting richer” should be the theme for Las Vegas as the trade deadline looms.

2021 Trade Candidate Wishlist for Las Vegas Raiders

Melvin Ingram Tops List of Trade Candidates for Las Vegas Raiders

Reports came out a few days ago stating Melvin Ingram’s desire to be traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Las Vegas was reportedly very interested in Ingram during the offseason, so a trade here only makes sense. Ingram thrived in Gus Bradley’s system while with the Los Angeles Chargers. A reunion between the two parties would only bolster what has been the Raiders greatest strength this season. Ingram is doing little to nothing in Pittsburgh. A trade package involving Clelin Ferrell would be a dream scenario for Las Vegas. He is another individual that could greatly benefit from a change of scenery. It is clear that Las Vegas has all but moved on from Ferrell.

Grady Jarrett Fills a Need

The Atlanta Falcons are in the earlier stages of a rebuild whether they are willing to admit it or not. Grady Jarrett is an expensive player that is nearing the end of his prime. These types of players typically have no interest in sticking around for a roster deconstruction. By the time Atlanta is ready to be competitive again, Jarrett will be on his way out the door. With Quinton Jefferson constantly in and out of the lineup due to injuries, Las Vegas could use a player like Jarrett.

Derek Barnett Adds Much Needed Depth

Derek Barnett closes out the list of pass-rushers and defensive linemen that would be great additions for Las Vegas. What was said earlier about the state of the Falcons can essentially be copied and pasted for the Philadelphia Eagles. They are another team that is years away from being a true contender in this league. Barnett has also never really lived up to his billing as a first-round draft pick. Still, he has tremendous value as a rotational pass-rusher. Barnett likely would not cost a lot to trade for either. Even despite their recent draft blunders, Philadelphia places a high value on future picks. Las Vegas could take advantage of this “lottery ticket” mentality and snatch a quality pass-rusher from a flailing franchise. Barnett would likely welcome the change of scenery as well.

Conclusion

Even despite the tremendous turnaround the Raiders defense has had under Gus Bradley, the lack of depth on the defensive line is worrisome. Outside of Carl Nassib, there is not much depth at pass-rusher for Las Vegas. An injury to Yannick Ngakoue or Maxx Crosby could completely derail the season. With over half of the season still left to play, it is crucial for Las Vegas to look into some of the previously listed players. It would be extremely disappointing if November 2nd comes and goes without a Las Vegas trade candidate coming to town.

Main Photo: Embed from Getty Images

With the November 2nd trade deadline nearly upon us, now is a good time to look at the ideal targets for the Las Vegas Raiders.

[17,54
4233,4771,1870,61,2058,848,5855,1675,40,2970,7747,817
post-123968","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-raiders","category-editorials","tag-carl-nassib","tag-clelin-ferrell","tag-derek-barnett","tag-football","tag-grady-jarrett","tag-las-vegas-raiders","tag-maxx-crosby","tag-melvin-ingram","tag-nfl","tag-quinton-jefferson","tag-raiders-featured","tag-yannick-ngakoue
["GET
