This quarterback class came in with a ton of hype and they’ve massively disappointed so far. Some of it may be outside circumstances but it’s been historically bad. Trevor Lawrence, the first overall pick, has shown some signs of life in the last two games though. He’s scored 17.76 and 22.72 fantasy points in those games.

The passing numbers haven’t been there but the rushing has been encouraging for his floor moving forward. Lawrence has 15 carries over the last two games and a rushing score in each of them. If he can pick it up in the passing game he could be a dangerous fantasy option. This week against the Miami Dolphins could be a great spot to get right. Miami just got shredded by Tom Brady, who had the best game of his entire career. Lawrence could make it back-to-back career games against the Dolphins this week.

Honorable Mentions – Taylor Heinicke (WFT – 16%) v KC, Teddy Bridgewater (DEN – 18%) v LV

Running Back – Devontae Booker (NYG – 6%) v LAR

It’s certainly not an ideal matchup going up against the vaunted Los Angeles Rams defense, but the volume is too good to ignore. Devontae Booker took over after Saquon Barkley suffered a nasty ankle sprain and was the workhorse for the rest of the game. He played 88% of the snaps in this one. Booker finished with 16 carries for 42 yards and a score on the ground and added another 16 yards and a score on three receptions. That was good for 20.80 fantasy points.

Barkley is expected to miss anywhere from two to four weeks and Booker is likely headed for another big workload in this one. The Rams are a good defense but they’ve actually given up the 11th most fantasy points to running backs this season so far. Booker also sees regular usage in the passing game which should raise his floor and insulate his stat line. Even if the New York Giants fall behind in this one, as expected, Booker should remain involved in the passing game and soak up targets on his way to a decent game. With so many injuries at the running back position and bye weeks starting, Booker makes for one of the best Week 6 stream team options.

Devontae Booker had 19.8 half PPR points on 21.1 expected half PPR points and 88% snaps in Week 5 after Saquon Barkley left. He followed up his nine-target game from last week with 13 targets this week. Toney turned those 13 targets into 10 catches for 189 yards. He scored 32.6 fantasy points against Dallas. Toney looked like the explosive playmaker the Giants were hoping for when they drafted him in the first round in this year’s NFL Draft.

This comes after a rocky beginning to his career in which he was slowed by injuries and barely saw the field in the first couple of weeks. He’s definitely making up for lost time and quickly. It will be interesting to see how his playing time and target share are affected when Sterling Shepard returns from injury. Smart coaching would see that Toney is a guy that needs to be featured, but assuming smart coaching is always a dangerous thing to do. Regardless, Toney not only makes for one of the best Week 6 stream team options but makes for a must-add in leagues of all shapes and sizes moving forward for his potential over the rest of the season.

Throw Kadarius Toney the football and good things happen pic.twitter.com/SgrsmKfhpc

— Ian Hartitz (@Ihartitz) October 11, 2021

Honorable Mentions – Tim Patrick (DEN – 31%) v LV, Hunter Renfrow (LV – 45%) @ DEN

Tight End – Hunter Henry (NE – 46%) v DAL

Heading into the year, Jonnu Smith was the New England Patriots tight end that was getting the most buzz for fantasy purposes. At this point, it’s pretty clear that Hunter Henry is the main pass-catching option of the two tight ends. Jonnu Smith is more athletic but he’s also a much better blocker so he tends to be the one that stays in to block while Henry runs more routes. He also has seen his role grow over the past three games.

In the first two games, he only had seven total targets. Over the last three games, he’s seen 19 total targets. That has translated to 41.3 fantasy points in that span. Henry is currently sitting as the TE9 on the season so far. He’s also run the fifth most routes among all tight ends as well. It may be hard to trust this Patriots offense but aside from Jakobi Meyers, there’s nobody else on the team that commands targets. The Patriots have also run the fifth-most passing plays per game in the NFL. This week’s matchup against the Cowboys is a good one as well and Henry should continue his hot streak.

Honorable Mentions – Zach Ertz (PHI – 37%) v TB, Evan Engram (NYG – 31%) v LAR

[pickup_prop id=”13428″]

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Week 6 Stream Team; Each week this column will analyze a player at each position rostered in 50% of Yahoo leagues or less.

[59
972,349,796,7893,6249
post-123079","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","tag-devontae-booker","tag-fantasy-football-rankings","tag-hunter-henry","tag-kadarius-toney","tag-trevor-lawrence
["GET
