Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson took a few questionable hits during Sunday’s action and, according to the latest NFL rumors, head coach John Harbaugh isn\u2019t happy about it. In other news, Joey Bosa spoke about Derek Carr following Monday Night Football, while Sean McVay promised to get Robert Woods more involved in the offense.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NFL Rumors: Lamar Jackson, Joey Bosa, Robert Woods<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Even though the game itself was a one-sided affair, the fallout from the Ravens-Broncos game has been the talk of the town. Speaking to reporters on Monday, head coach John Harbaugh believes that his quarterback gets less protection than other passers and should have received one or two roughing the passer penalties during Week 4\u2019s action.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>All the quarterbacks should be treated the same<\/span><\/a>,\u201d Harbuagh told ESPN\u2019s Jamison Hensley. \u201cI don\u2019t think any quarterback should be judged any differently in terms of how they\u2019re protected.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Harbaugh has a pretty strong gripe here, as Jackson hasn\u2019t drawn a single roughing the passer penalty since December of 2019. While quarterbacks do lose some protection once out of the pocket, the fact of the matter is that most officiating crews treat Jackson more like a running back than a quarterback.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, this was far from the only drama to emerge from that fateful Sunday afternoon. Denver Broncos<\/a> head coach Vic Fangio took offense to Baltimore extending their 100-yard rushing streak with a meaningless final play, saying that Harbaugh clearly didn\u2019t value player safety. Harbaugh struck back, saying that if Fangio cared about player safety, then he wouldn\u2019t have been trying to throw a touchdown while trailing by 16 points with just 10 seconds left.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Chargers put an end to the Raiders undefeated season during a commanding 28-14 victory on Monday Night Football. While Vegas made it interesting for a bit, the game\u2019s outcome was never truly in doubt, largely thanks to LA\u2019s strong defensive play.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters after the game, defensive lineman Joey Bosa revealed the secret to the unit\u2019s success. \u201cWe knew once we hit him a few times, he really gets shook. And you saw on [Covington\u2019s] sack, he was pretty much curling into a ball before we even got there…once you get pressure on him, he kind of shuts down.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
