However, my opinion of Toney doesn\u2019t really matter if the New York Giants are going to use him like this. With Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton both sidelined<\/a>, the rookie first-round pick went off to the tune of six receptions for 78 yards on nine targets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This article comes out on Sunday, so it\u2019s impossible for me to know if Shepard and\/or Slayton will be back in the lineup next week. If one or both players misses time, Toney should be able to put up similar numbers against a subpar Dallas Cowboys defense in what should be a high-scoring game. Even if both players do come back, Toney could still be a decent play in deeper leagues.
