Both teams lost nail-biting games in Week 2<\/h3>\n

This game is projecting to be a nail-biter as the spread is at just -1.5. Get your popcorn out Sunday evening because this one is going to be worth viewing. The Seahawks and Vikings are tied for dead-last place in their separate divisions in the NFC Conference. There is a lot at stake for the Vikings because they have an 0-2 record. The Vikings could be 1-1, but Greg Joseph<\/a> missed a 37-yard field goal with seconds left in the fourth quarter against the Cardinals in Week 2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Minnesota’s head coach, Mike Zimmer<\/a> mentioned that Greg Joseph knocked down two field-goal attempts from more than 50 yards away earlier in Sunday\u2019s game against the Cardinals. Zimmer also stated that Joseph made another clutch field goal in the Vikings\u2019 Week 1 loss against the Bengals that pushed the game into overtime. The Vikings have had some kickers miss a lot of field goals in game-changing situations, so I think Zimmer may be trying to raise Joseph’s confidence because he’s only missed one field goal.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Seahawks blew a big lead in Week 2 against the Titans. They were up 24-9 at halftime during their home opener. The 12th man was back in 2021, and the crowd was roaring for a victory. It is not normal for the Seahawks to lose a home opener on Lumen Field. The Titans are loaded-up on offense with Derrick Henry (aka – Yeti), Julio Jones, and AJ Brown with Ryan Tannehill as their signal-caller. The Titans rallied back to beat the Seahawks in overtime.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Justin Jefferson and DK Metcalf to Heat-Up<\/h3>\n

One player for the Vikings that I believe will become unleashed in this match-up is Justin Jefferson<\/a>. His snap percentage so far this year is around 90%. He is currently sitting at WR-26 fantasy-stat-wise, through two games this year. He is the most electric player on the field for the Vikings, and he is going to get some separation at some point in this game and take the ball straight to the end-zone with his electric speed.<\/span><\/p>\n

DK Metcalf<\/a> has been cold as of late but, the expectation is that he heats up in Week 3. In 2020 when these two teams faced off, Metcalf caught six passes for 93-yards and two touchdowns. Metcalf could be in for a huge day because the Vikings secondary have been allowing points this year, on the regular. The Vikings have never beaten the Seahawks under the Russell Wilson\/Pete Carroll regime.<\/span><\/p>\n
