Looking around the league shows that players like Rondale Moore and Jamison Crowder have the best chance of positive production in the coming weeks.

Note that, in order to qualify for this list, the player needed to be available in roughly 50% of leagues. Depending on the size of your league, there could be better options on the wire.

Week 3 Wide Receiver Waiver Claims

Rondale Moore, Jamison Crowder Highlight Fantasy Football Week 3 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Claims

Rondale Moore

Full disclosure: this isn’t a good week to need a wide receiver. Rondale Moore set the world on fire last week, recording seven receptions for 114 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. This is obviously a fantastic stat line, but it’s worth noting that Moore was fourth on the team in snap count, which isn’t ideal.

Moore might not repeat his heroic performance in Week 3, but he’s definitely worth rostering. He already looks like the second-best receiver on the team and, as a rookie, he should only get better with time. Additionally, Moore’s explosive style of play means that he only needs one or two opportunities to put up a solid fantasy week. His snap share should improve as the season progresses, and he could end up being 2021’s undrafted league winner.

[pickup_prop id=”6857″]

Jamison Crowder

Like I said, this isn’t a good week to need a wide receiver. Jamison Crowder has yet to play a snap this season, but he should be good to go next week. Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson has not looked good thus far, but that doesn’t mean that this offense is devoid of fantasy relevance.

In two games without Crowder, slot receiver Braxton Berrios has recorded 13 receptions for 124 yards on 19 targets. Crowder is far more talented than Berrios and could be the top option in this passing attack as soon as next week. The volume should be there and, in fantasy football, you need to chase volume and hope efficiency follows.

James Washington

Diontae Johnson was a “my guy” throughout the offseason, and my belief paid off through the first two weeks. Unfortunately, the receiver suffered a knee injury on the final play of Week 2’s contest, and we don’t yet know the severity. If he’s gone for a while, James Washington could be a decent add. Ben Roethlisberger clearly isn’t the player he once was, but he’s still capable of throwing balls up to open receivers. We’ve seen Washington succeed in the past, and he could be a good desperation add in deeper leagues.

Big fan of this Matt Canada play call to James Washington. #Steelers pic.twitter.com/jyXEDjEs2i

— Josh Rowntree (@JRown32) September 15, 2021

Anthony Schwartz

The biggest dart throw on this list, Anthony Schwartz is the worthwhile risk in the deepest of deep leagues. Odell Beckham is still battling his way back from injury, and Jarvis Landry suffered an MCL injury early in Week 2. Somebody is going to have to catch the ball in this offense, and my money is on Schwartz. A third-round pick with a fantastic athletic profile, the speedy rookie had a great Week 1 debut but was clearly playing through pain in Week 2. Assuming he can get back to full strength by next Sunday, he’ll have the chance to win a starting job in what should be a very good offense.

Note: Cordarrelle Patterson is not included on this list because he was already mentioned in the Week 3 running back waiver claims.

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Fantasy Football: Rondale Moore and Jamison Crowder are two of the best wide receiver waiver wire claims heading into Week 3.

[59
8140,349,857,7484
post-121746","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","tag-anthony-schwartz","tag-fantasy-football-rankings","tag-jamison-crowder","tag-rondale-moore
["GET
