Jake Curhan 2021 NFL Draft Profile<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Playing some solid college football, Jake Curhan enters the draft with a respectable background for the professional game. A three-star recruit from Redwood High School in Larkspur, CA, Curhan stayed close to home in college. He turned away offers from Oregon State and Boise State to stick with his nearby Golden Bears. In turn, he was a four-year starter for the Golden Bears, earning solid accolades along the way. He was involved in conference-specific praise on end-of-the-year lists from his sophomore year through his senior year. Curhan was also regularly included on All-Pac 12 Academic lists throughout his college career. Given his heady playing style and consistency, he should have some teams pretty interested ahead of the draft.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Still, Curhan didn\u2019t do enough to differentiate himself in the 2021 class of offensive linemen. While he plays with solid technique, he certainly has some holes in his game. In order to succeed at the next level, he\u2019ll need to even out his weight distribution. Currently, he plays top-heavy and finds himself reaching on a regular basis. Regardless, his high character and consistent play make him an interesting prospect. Certainly, Curhan\u2019s 1.76 relative athletic score is a major concern. He doesn\u2019t move very well and doesn\u2019t do much to stand out in blocking. However, he still finds a way to hold his own and rarely looks overmatched in pass protection. Granted, Curhan does provide some solid technique despite his flaws.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
