And he did it all on a busted knee. The quarterback originally underwent surgery on his left knee at least six weeks ago, and Brady is reportedly feeling “pretty good” in his rehab.

Tom Brady: “I Feel Pretty Good” After Knee Surgery

Perhaps the most impressive thing about Brady’s unparalleled career is his ability to continue playing at a high level long after his peers have called it a career. Not much is known about the extent of the original injury, other than The Boston Globe calling it “more than just a little clean-up”. Brady added that he might not be able to play if there was a game this week, but said he hopes to be available for June’s mandatory minicamp and is “sure” that he’ll be ready for the start of the 2021 season.

The quarterback went to say that he’s progressing well and hopes to start “real training and stuff…pretty soon”. From the sounds of this, it looks like Brady’s knee will be healthy enough to start on-field work sooner rather than later.

Brady was obviously the most important part of Tampa’s Super Bowl run, but this is still one of the best all-around rosters in football. Tampa Bay’s front office has done everything in their power to keep the core in place, as all 22 starters from the previous season are back to push for a repeat. The Buccaneers should remain as one of the NFL’s elite teams but, if they want to take home their third championship in franchise history, they’ll need another season of great play out of their soon-to-be 44-year old quarterback.

[pickup_prop id=”4996″]

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

According to the latest NFL rumors originating from ESPN, quarterback Tom Brady is feeling good after recovering from knee surgery.

[36,29
7331,331
post-110546","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-news","category-buccaneers","tag-tampa-bay-buccaneers-news","tag-tom-brady
["GET
