In his rookie year, Lockett played in all 16 games, starting eight of them. He recorded 51 receptions for 664 yards and six touchdowns. One of his first big moments in the NFL atmosphere was returning a 57-yard punt for a touchdown in his debut. With a great rookie season, both as a wide receiver and a special teamer, Lockett earned his first Pro Bowl selection. He also was selected to the PFWA All-Rookie Team as well as being nominated as a First-Team All-Pro.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, he put up slightly similar statistics. He played in 15 games, starting nine, and he recorded 41 receptions for 597 yards and only caught one touchdown. Lockett suffered a fracture to his right tibia and fibula in Week 16, causing him to miss the rest of the season.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, Lockett recorded 45 receptions for 555 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games (started eight). On special teams, he returned a 57-yard kick return for a touchdown in Week 11. As a result, the return earned him NFC Special Teams Player Of The Week. He recorded a career-high 949 yards on 37 kick returns.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, Tyler Lockett signed a three-year, $31.8M extension with the Seahawks. Lockett started off the season hot, recording 12 receptions for 196 yards and three touchdowns, within the first three games. He finished 2018 with 57 receptions for 965 yards and 10 touchdowns. In addition to his great season, when quarterback <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WilsRu00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Russell Wilson<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>targeted him,\u00a0Wilson produced a perfect passer rating of 158.4.<\/p>\n<p>The following season, Lockett recorded his first 1,000-yard season. He caught 82 passes for 1,057 yards with eight receiving touchdowns. He produced for the Seahawks in the playoffs, as he caught nine passes for 136 yards against the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round. As a result, he was nominated as an alternate to the 2019 Pro Bowl.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Lockett caught 100 passes for 1,054 yards for 10 touchdowns, recording his second consecutive 1,000 yard season.
