Here are the top five free-agent wide receivers and their fantasy outlook* for their 2021 seasons.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rankings are based on half PPR scoring systems and 12-team, season-long leagues<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h2>2021 Fantasy Football Outlook for Top 5 Free-Agent Wide Receiver Signings<\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1. Kenny Golladay &#8211; <em>New York Giants<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the biggest names talked about throughout <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">all <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">available positions in this season\u2019s free agency market was 27-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GollKe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kenny Golladay<\/a>. After a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/nfl\/news\/kenny-golladay-free-agency-2021-recapping-news-and-rumors-that-led-the-star-receiver-to-ink-deal-with-giants\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">few team visits<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> across the league this past week, the former <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/lions\/\" target=\"_self\">Detroit Lions<\/a> standout signed a 4 year\/$72 million deal on Saturday with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/giants\/\" target=\"_self\">New York Giants<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After battling a hip injury for most of the 2020 season, Golladay only saw the field in five total games. His last appearance came in Week 7. However, during the two seasons prior with the Lions, he put up big-play numbers. Golladay averaged just over 67 catches, 1120 yards, and 8 touchdowns per season. Golladay looks to turn around a struggling Giants offense in 2021. But with workhorse <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BarkSa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Saquon Barkley<\/a> returning from injury, and the fact he\u2019ll be competing with touches amongst fellow pass-catchers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/ShepSt00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sterling Shepard<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SlayDa01.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Darius Slayton<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/E\/EngrEv00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Evan Engram<\/a> from up-and-down quarterback <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JoneDa05.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Daniel Jones<\/a>, what should fantasy managers expect from this electric pass catcher? Take him as a <\/span><b>low-end WR1 or solid WR2 option<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Top 20 WR) as his presence will demand targets and his skillset will continue to help him exceed at his position.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Kenny Golladay has had the 2nd-most difficult targets on average among WR since entering the NFL in 2017. JuJu Smith-Schuster &#8211; <em>Pittsburgh Steelers<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In one of the more surprising moves of free agency, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/steelers\/\" target=\"_self\">Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> opted to keep <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SmitJu00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">JuJu Smith-Schuster<\/a> on a one-year deal. This keeps their entire stacked wide receiver crew intact for at least one more season. While Smith-Schuster may have seemed \u2018quieter\u2019 (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/steelerswire.usatoday.com\/2021\/01\/11\/2020-nfl-playoffs-steelers-browns-tiktok-juju-smith-schuster\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">not in the TikTok sense<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) on the field than in previous seasons due to primarily lining up in the slot last year, his presence was still felt incredibly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 128 targets, he brought in nine touchdowns off of 97 catches. Both numbers led the team. He also tallied 831 yards in the 2020 season. Still clearly an integral role in this offense, and at only 24 years old, expect Smith-Schuster to keep hauling in catches for quarterback <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RoetBe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ben Roethlisberger<\/a>\u2019s final days (especially if the drops continue elsewhere). Coming in at WR18 last season, anticipate Smith-Schuster to have similar, but slightly lower numbers on a familiar team coming in as a <\/span><b>low-end WR2 or solid WR3\/FLEX option<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 2021<\/span><b>.\u00a0 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Curtis Samuel &#8211; <em>Washington Football Team<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This just seems like the perfect fit for former <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/panthers\/\" target=\"_self\">Carolina Panther<\/a> wideout <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SamuCu00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Curtis Samuel<\/a>. Pairing back up with his old college teammate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McLaTe00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Terry McLaurin<\/a>, and reuniting with his first NFL coach, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RiveRo20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ron Rivera<\/a>, Samuel is going to play a pivotal role in the up-and-coming offense of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/washington-football-team\/\" target=\"_self\">Washington Football Team<\/a> in 2021. Samuel broke out in 2020 with 118 touches (77 receptions and 41 carries), over 1000 total scrimmage yards.\u00a0 He also totaled five touchdowns. He has proven to be a dual-threat as a runner and a receiver. That made him one of the most sought-after free-agent wide receivers this offseason.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Falling just out of the WR2 range at WR25 overall last season, look for Samuel to make a slight jump in fantasy production this year as a <\/span><b>low-end WR2 option <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on a more exciting offense that will find ways to get the ball in space to their new, versatile weapon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Lookout for the Fitzmagic bombs \ud83d\udca3<\/p>\n<p>Curtis Samuel had a 77% catch rate on deep targets in 2020<\/p>\n<p>Highest among all WRs \ud83d\ude80 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/yciXTvNouJ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/yciXTvNouJ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; PFF WAS Commanders (@PFF_Washington) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PFF_Washington\/status\/1372338417430827008?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">March 18, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Will Fuller &#8211; <em>Miami Dolphins<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/F\/FullWi01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Will Fuller<\/a> has had an interesting journey with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/texans\/\" target=\"_self\">Houston Texans<\/a> over the years. Although most of them being injury-plagued, when he has stepped on the field, he has been quite a playmaker. Consistency is obviously the issue here, especially when it comes to fantasy value week after week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/dolphins\/\" target=\"_self\">Miami Dolphins<\/a> adding the long-time Texan receiver to their arsenal, Fuller looks to be a strong piece to help with the improvement of second-year signal-caller <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/TagoTu00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tua Tagovailoa<\/a>. Fuller still ended as WR28 in the 2020 season. Even after missing the last five games due to suspension, and parts of numerous others due to nagging injuries. Even on a team with a top ten wideout in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=override,BrowAJ00&amp;search=A.J.+Brown&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A.J. Brown<\/a> and a dominant ground attack behind <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HenrDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Derrick Henry<\/a>, Davis was still able to produce an impressive 64\/984\/5 stat line. Going into free agency, Davis was one of the first free-agent wide receiver signings to go down, which came from the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/jets\/\" target=\"_self\">New York Jets<\/a>, who are in the midst of a much-needed <a href=\"https:\/\/withthefirstpick.com\/2021\/03\/04\/jets-build-2021-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">restructuring of their team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whether the Jets decide to roll with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DarnSa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sam Darnold<\/a> next season or use their second-round pick to draft a new quarterback, Davis will be a consistent piece of the passing game that will build the confidence of his young quarterback.
