In 15 regular season games, he registered 45 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He had 4 tackles during the postseason. His biggest play of the year was a bullrush against the<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/steelers\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> during the postseason game.<\/p>\n<p>When teammate Myles Garrett got into an altercation with Pittsburgh Steelers Mason Rudolph, Ogunjobi came to his defense, shoving Rudolph to the ground. He was fined and suspended for one game.<\/p>\n<p>Coming out of college (Charlotte), Ogunjobi was ranked the 15<sup>th<\/sup> best defensive tackle in the 2017 NFL Draft by CBS Sport and projected to be a fifth or sixth round pick. Things would soon change.<\/p>\n<p>He received an invitation to the 2017 Senior Bowl, playing defensive tackle for the North. His draft stock was raised he showcased his talent there. He participated in the NFL Combine, completing all the required combine and positional drills. About a dozen scouts attended Charlotte\u2019s Pro Day to observe Ogunjobi and two teammates. NFL Draft experts and analysts projected him to be a second or third round pick, and they were right. ESPN ranked him the third best defensive tackle, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MayoMi20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Mayock<\/a> ranked him fifth.<\/p>\n<p>The Browns selected Ogunjobi in the third round (65<sup>th<\/sup> overall) of the Draft. He signed a deal with the Browns on May 17, 2017. It was a deal which totaled $3.9 million.<\/p>\n<p>Ogunjobi played football at Charlotte from 2013-2016, recording 217 tackles and 13 sacks. He graduated with a degree in computer science in December 2016. He was born in Livingston, New Jersey to parents who immigrated from Nigeria.
