Robinson and the Chicago Bears have struggled to come to terms on a long-term deal, so there is a very real chance that the superstar wide receiver will be taking his talents somewhere else next year. Just about everyone in the league would love to add Robinson to their roster, but not every team has a realistic shot at the superstar. Let’s take a look at the teams most likely to secure his services.

Bears WR Allen Robinson is now scheduled to head into free agency at the age of 27. Over his past two seasons, he has 200 catches for 2,397 yards and 13 TD.

He has a nasty skillset of route running, contest catch making and red zone prowess seen in these plays below. pic.twitter.com/NtLJZ6cz6S

— Field Yates (@FieldYates) January 11, 2021

2020 Free Agent: Allen Robinson Potential Team Fits

Green Bay Packers

After a couple of relatively pedestrian play, Aaron Rodgers is back to playing like the best quarterback in the league. The odds-on favorite for MVP finished the year at or near the top of just about every efficiency metric and is the biggest reason the Packers are the top seed in the NFC. The fact he managed to do all this with Davante Adams and nobody else is a true testament to his ability.

Adding Allen Robinson would make Green Bay’s offense borderline unstoppable. Adams is the best receiver in football, but Robinson isn’t that far behind him. If Rodgers maintains his high level of play moving forward, then this offense could be able to match its’ 2014 level of greatness. Even if Rodgers takes a minor step back in 2020, the talented duo should make this a top-five unit. Robinson had a chance to sign with the Packers back in 2018, and now he has a chance to correct that mistake.

Washington Football Team

The Washington Football Team is this close to being a genuine competitor. The front seven is second to none, Terry McLaurin is a fantastic receiver, and the offensive line is one of the best in football. If Taylor Heinicke turns out to be the real deal (admittedly, a big “if”), then this team should be ready to make a serious postseason run.

If Heinicke can be a legitimate top-15 quarterback, then adding Robinson should give the Football Team a top-10 offense. McLaurin and Robinson would be one of the best receiver duos in the league, and no defense would be able to consistently cover both players. Even if Heinicke isn’t legitimate, any offense featuring those two will be a decent unit. Washington has the defense to stand a shot at the playoffs, even with an average offense.

New York Giants

All signs point towards Daniel Jones getting one more shot in New York. The former first-round pick has been hot and cold over the past two seasons, with more cold than hot during 2020. However, in fairness to Jones, he has not had a favorable supporting cast. Sterling Shepard, Golden Tate, and Darius Slayton are all better off in supporting roles, whereas Robinson can thrive as the top option in a passing attack. Signing Robinson should give the Giants the opportunity to fully evaluate Jones – if he can’t get it done in Year 3 with a true WR1, then it’s time to move on.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have the biggest competitive advantage in football: a franchise quarterback on a rookie deal. Lamar Jackson didn’t play as well in 2020 as he did in 2019, but he’s still a great quarterback that can guide a team to a Super Bowl. The Ravens have a great defense, while Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown form a solid 1-2 punch in the passing game. Adding Robinson as a true perimeter threat with Andrews attacking the seams and Brown stretching the field would make this offense nearly unstoppable.

As of this posting, the Baltimore Ravens are getting ready to face off against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round. The Ravens stand a decent shot of making it to the Super Bowl, but Robinson would be a great fit for this team even if Baltimore goes all the way.

New England Patriots

Cam Newton wasn’t great in 2020, but no quarterback could’ve succeeded with New England’s atrocious supporting cast. Jakobi Meyers looks like a real diamond in the rough, but N’Keal Harry isn’t playing up to his draft capital and, even if Damiere Byrd comes back, he’s nothing more than a depth receiver. The Patriots have an absurd amount of cap space in 2021 and should have the ability to spend whatever they want in free agency.

The last time New England’s offense looked this bad was in 2006. After losing in the AFC Championship Game thanks to a lack of weapons, Bill Belichick went crazy and acquired Randy Moss and Wes Welker. The same thing could happen this year, as Belichick has money to burn and a strong desire to rebuild a competitive roster in his image.

Honorable Mention: Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Allen Robinson is the best wide receiver in the upcoming free agent class and should have no shortage of suitors on the open market.

[25,10,5,20,8896,22
442,174,42,7403,61,44,38,92,40,1608,6851
post-102025","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-packers","category-ravens","category-patriots","category-giants","category-washington-commanders","category-washington-football-team","tag-allen-robinson","tag-baltimore-ravens","tag-chicago-bears","tag-chicago-bears-news","tag-football","tag-green-bay-packers","tag-new-england-patriots","tag-new-york-giants","tag-nfl","tag-nfl-free-agency","tag-washington-football-team
["GET
