The Jacksonville Jaguars are a walking disaster, and the cherry on top of their 1-5 sundae came when safety Andre Cisco blatantly said that the team quit during their 35-16 loss to the Chicago Bears. Entering the season with postseason aspirations, Jacksonville stumbled out of the gate and never improved. Now tied for the worst record in football, Cisco sees issues with the attitude and effort displayed by his teammates and coaches.
Frankly, it’s hard to disagree with anything Andre Cisco said about the team quitting. Jacksonville isn’t as talented as teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, or Detroit Lions, but they’re better than this. However, these are the types of quotes that coaches might not like, especially ones like Doug Pederson who could be fired at any given moment. Jacksonville proved they’re willing to sell when they traded defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris to the Seattle Seahawks, and Cisco could be next.
Now in the final year of his contract, the Jaguars could sell him to the highest bidder to get a draft pick for a player who might not be in their long-term plans and send a message to the remainder of the team. While Cisco isn’t a star player by any stretch of the imagination, teams like the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers could part with a conditional late-round pick for his services.

Jaguars Could Trade Andre Cisco After Saying Team Quit In London Loss
The New Orleans Saints are a walking MASH unit, with star safety Tyrann Mathieu the latest player to suffer an injury. The LSU product and three-time First-Team All-Pro suffered a forearm injury during their Week 6 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, putting more strain on a roster already attempting to overcome an absurd amount of pain. While Mathieu will still suit up, New Orleans could use someone like Andre Cisco as an additional depth piece in the secondary.
After starting the season with two dominant wins, the Saints currently reside in third place in the NFC South with a 2-4 record. Head coach Dennis Allen will not survive another losing season, so he can’t afford to quit on the season and could trade for Andre Cisco. Cisco alone won’t turn this team into a championship contender, but his presence could slow down the surprisingly solid passing attacks of the NFC South.
Winning With Defense
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh follows an old-school philosophy built around winning games with defense and a powerful run game. At 3-2, Los Angeles is in the thick of the Wild Card race and could use more help on the back end if they want to make the playoffs. Quentin Johnston and second-round pick Ladd McConkey both suffered injuries in Week 6, putting more stress on an already weak receiver room. Jim Harbaugh doesn’t believe in the word quit, and he could counter this by adding Andre Cisco to bolster the defense.
Elijah Molden is having a great season, and Derwin James has stood out as a run defender this year. However, age seems to be catching up with the former first-round pick, as he’s struggled in coverage in the past two seasons. Cisco is a jack of all trades, master of none who could handle some coverage duties and free up James to spend more time near the line of scrimmage.
