When two of them finish first and second, that&#8217;s a great day. Three of them finishing on the podium is an excellent day.<\/p>\n<p>All four drivers finishing 1-2-3-4? That&#8217;s an absolute statement.<\/p>\n<p>Bowman, Larson,\u00a0<strong>Chase Elliott<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>William Byron<\/strong> completed just the fourth 1-2-3-4 finish by a single organization in NASCAR Cup Series history, and the first since Roush Fenway Racing did so at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2005.<\/p>\n<p>And it wasn&#8217;t due to a late restart or late cautions. All but Elliott led 382 of the 400 laps, with Larson leading 263.<\/p>\n<p>And all of this came at the Monster Mile. Now, I still can&#8217;t say for certain.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, he scored his second win of the season. Yes, he earned his first multi-win season. But the winning pass came not on track, but on pit road.\u00a0Thanks his pit crew delivering the fastest pit stop of the season, Bowman exited pit road ahead of Larson under the fifth caution.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">DYK: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Alex_Bowman?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@Alex_Bowman<\/a>&#39;s pit stop on Lap 304 that gained him the lead was 12.1776 seconds, per Racing Insights. <\/p>\n<p>That&#39;s the fastest pit stop of the season in the NASCAR Cup Series. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HvwrBV5qhS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/HvwrBV5qhS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; NASCAR (@NASCAR) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NASCAR\/status\/1394059915388403713?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">May 16, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Take that out of the equation, I don&#8217;t think anybody beats Larson.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, it doesn&#8217;t matter how you win. Just that you did. It&#8217;s the sixth time in his Cup Series career that he&#8217;s led over 200 laps in a race.<\/p>\n<p>And for the sixth time, he came up short.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know if that&#8217;s near or is a NASCAR record, but it&#8217;s amazing to see a generational talent like Larson come up short in so many races he&#8217;s dominated.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2021\/03\/21\/three-big-stories-atlanta\/\" target=\"_self\">And for the second time this season<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s more, he didn&#8217;t make a mistake, Sunday.
