Ken Roczen<\/strong> is the biggest threat to end Ryan Dungey\u2019s<\/strong> run for a third straight Supercross title. Even though we are just one week into the 17-race season, it isn\u2019t too early to make that claim.<\/p>\n

Roczen\u2019s win at Anaheim was a statement to the supercross world. He\u2019s on a tear and the competition should take notice. His series of races in recent memory have been filled with dominating victories, with the latest coming on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Ken Roczen the Biggest Threat to Interrupt ‘Dungey Dynasty’<\/h2>\n

It all started in 2016, where Roczen finished the season with two wins in the last three races. Although an accident in Vegas prevented him from competing for the championship, Roczen kept digging.
\nHe joined HRC Honda<\/strong>, who hasn\u2019t won a Manufacturer\u2019s Championship in 13 years.<\/p>\n

Roczen would hop on the Honda in competition for the first time at the 2016 Monster Energy Cup<\/strong>. The event features a three-race format that gives out a million dollars for a rider winning each main.<\/p>\n

He dominated the competition in the first main, but went body-over-bars in the second to lose his shot at the cool million. However, Roczen earned a win in the third main event, a dominating one\u2026 again. It almost looked identical to the one he won just this past Saturday in Anaheim.<\/p>\n

At the end of the day, in the past seven SX Main Events, Ken Roczen has won five of them.<\/p>\n

This could be just the start of his succsess. Roczen is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down, and has the spark to be the rider that interrupts the Dungey dynasty.<\/p>\n

Roczen has shown he can get out front, and stay there for that matter, but can he stay on the bike?
\nThe series continues this Saturday as SX heads to San Diego. The racing will start at 10:00 p.m. ET and will be televised by Fox Sports 1<\/strong>. The track map can be found here.<\/a><\/p>\n
