{"id":7027,"date":"2019-07-19T12:14:56","date_gmt":"2019-07-19T16:14:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/?p=7027"},"modified":"2019-07-19T12:14:56","modified_gmt":"2019-07-19T16:14:56","slug":"sweet-counters-schatz-with-jokers-wild-win","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2019\/07\/19\/sweet-counters-schatz-with-jokers-wild-win\/","title":{"rendered":"Sweet counters Schatz with Jokers Wild Win"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Donny Schatz<\/strong> held off NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series points leader <strong>Brad Sweet<\/strong> to win the makeup night of #LetsRaceTwo on Wednesday at Eldora Speedway.<\/p>\n<p>But less than 24 hours later, it was Sweet\u2019s turn to park it in victory lane.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sweet counters Schatz with Jokers Wild Win<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The pair of front runners for the 2019 points championship started next to each other on the front row to start things off, where Sweet immediately jumped to the lead.<\/p>\n<p>Schatz would challenge the No. 49 multiple times during the 30-lap main event, but Sweet took care of business to earn his series-leading 10<sup>th<\/sup> win of the season at the Jokers Wild.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Logan Schuchart\u00a0<\/strong>followed up a P3 finish on Wednesday night with a P4 in the Joker in what has been an encouraging week for the Pennsylvania native.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">P3 and a P4 so far this week.
