This will be the first time the 22 <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2018\/03\/30\/formula-e-gen2-car-test-at-monteblanco-circuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Gen2<\/strong><\/a> Formula E cars will be put through their paces around the <strong>Circuit Ricardo Tormo<\/strong> in Valencia. The circuit which is 3.094km(1.923miles) in length and consists of 14 turns is a perfect testing circuit.<\/p>\n<h1>Formula E &#8211; Season Five Pre-Season Testing<\/h1>\n<h2>The Debutants<\/h2>\n<p>It will be the first chance for the teams to see how they stack up against one another. It will be the debut race for many teams and drivers on the grid. GEOX Dragon said they will split testing between Max Gunther and Antonio Fuoco. It is expected that one of them will secure the second seat at the team. Fortunately, the team secured veteran <strong>Jose Maria Lopez<\/strong> for Season Five.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mahindra Racing<\/strong> has yet to confirm any driver publicly before pre-season testing. Both seats are suspected to be open considering that Felix Rosenqvist will be racing in Indy Car in 2019.\u00a0 <strong>Nick Heidfeld<\/strong> has taken a position within Mahindra Racing. It will be exciting to see who they place in the car tomorrow!<\/p>\n<h2>Pre-Season Entry List By Team<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2018\/10\/06\/formula-e-envision-virgin-racing-formula-e\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Envision Virgin Racing<\/strong><\/a> will have <strong>Sam Brid<\/strong> driving the #2 and <strong>Robin Frijns<\/strong> driving the #5 on all three days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Panasonic Jaguar Racing<\/strong> will have <strong>Nelson Piquet Jr.<\/strong> driving the #3 and <strong>Mitch Evan<\/strong>s driving the #20 for three test days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>HWA Racelab<\/strong> (<strong>Mercedes<\/strong>) will feature <strong>Stoffel Vandoorne<\/strong> in the #5 on Tuesday and Wednesday and <strong>Dani JuncAdella<\/strong> on Friday. <strong>Gary Paffett<\/strong> will drive the #17\u00a0 on all three test days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>GEOX Dragon<\/strong> will split time between <strong>Max Gunther<\/strong> and <strong>Antonio Fuoco<\/strong> in the #6. Gunther will drive Wednesday and during the morning of Tuesday and Friday. Fuoco will drive during the PM session on Tuesday and Friday. Jose Maria Lopez will drive the #7 on all three test days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>NIO Formula E<\/strong> will feature <strong>Tom Dillmann<\/strong> in the #8 and <strong>Oliver Turvey<\/strong> in the #16 for all three test days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>BMW <\/strong>i<strong> Andretti Motorsport<\/strong> will feature <strong>Alexander Sims<\/strong> and <strong>Antonio Felix da Costa<\/strong> in the #27 and #28 respectively for all three test days.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2018\/05\/18\/formula-e-felipe-massa-signs-with-venturi-for-season-5\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Venturi Formula E team<\/a><\/strong> will have <strong>Felipe Massa<\/strong> in the #19 and <strong>Edoardo Mortara<\/strong> in the #48 for all three test days.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2018\/10\/06\/formula-e-audi-repeat-champions-in-season-five\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Audi <\/strong>Sport<strong> Abt Schaeffler Formula E team<\/strong><\/a> will feature <strong>Lucas di Grassi<\/strong> in the #11 and <strong>Daniel Abt<\/strong> in the #66 on all three test days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nissan e.dams.<\/strong> will have <strong>Alexander Albon<\/strong> and <strong>Sebastien Buemi<\/strong> driving the #22 and #23 on all three test days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>DS Techeetah<\/strong> will feature defending Formula E Champion <strong>Jean-Eric Vergne<\/strong> in the #25 and <strong>Andre Lotterer<\/strong> in the #36 on all three test days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mahindra Racing<\/strong> doesn&#8217;t have a confirmed list of drivers scheduled for testing.
