Max Verstappen’s has been repeatedly questioned about his crashes after his error-prone start to the year. With reporters asking numerous questions about his current streak, the Dutchman was reluctant to answer. “I think if I get a few more (questions about the crashes), I\u2019ll head-butt someone”.<\/em><\/p>\n

Max Verstappen Might “Head-butt” Reporters<\/h1>\n

Verstappen’s frustration was pretty clear during the Drivers’ Press Conference prior to this weekend’s Canadian Grand Prix<\/a><\/strong>. The Dutch driver also said he’s getting “tired” of the comments about him and his woes. Verstappen thinks that there’s a lot of overreaction about his current situation, although he recognized his start has not been great.<\/p>\n

“Everybody makes it so dramatic.\u00a0Of course, the beginning of the year so far, it hasn\u2019t been going that well and not in the way that I liked it. A few mistakes, I think especially Monaco and China.<\/em><\/p>\n

“But it doesn\u2019t make sense to keep talking about it. I get really tired of it. It feels like there are no better questions out there than to keep asking me about what happened in the previous weekend.<\/em><\/p>\n

“So I\u2019m just focusing on what\u2019s ahead and I\u2019m confident that I can turn things around. The speed is there. I\u2019ve always been quick every single weekend. It would be much more of a problem if I would be really slow because that\u2019s a critical problem.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“I will never\u00a0change my approach”<\/h1>\n

Christian Horner<\/strong>, Red Bull Racing Team Principal, talked about Verstappen after his weekend in Monaco. Horner’s main theme was Verstappen’s approach. “Max has an abundance of talent and had some harsh lessons this year. I think a modified approach will benefit him.”<\/em><\/p>\n

However, Verstappen’s response to his “boss” wasn’t the one Horner expected. “Well you know, I get really tired of all the comments about me that I should change my approach.\u00a0I will never do that. It\u2019s brought me to where I am right now.”<\/em><\/p>\n

However, Verstappen’s actions during the Monaco GP<\/strong><\/a> and his comments after the race indicated some changes in his approach. “I can’t go all in now, that’s my situation right now,”<\/em> said the Dutchman.<\/p>\n

Verstappen was involved in some kind of accident on every weekend this year. He has 35 points in the championship and currently sits in sixth place.<\/p>\n

2018 championship resumes this weekend with the Formula 1 Grand Prix Heineken Du Canada 2018 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
