After a break for the drivers on Friday (at least from racing, as there were tons of events on Friday), Formula 1<\/strong> is back at the Monaco GP<\/strong> with Free Practice 3. The Red Bull drivers, Daniel Ricciardo<\/strong> and Max Verstappen<\/strong>, led another 1-2 in FP3. This was the third session in a row in which the Red Bull drivers dominated.<\/p>\n

Max Verstappen Crashes In FP3<\/h1>\n

\u00a0In the first two sessions<\/a><\/strong> on Thursday, Red Bull Racing dominated the timing sheets, getting a 1-2 placing in both. Red Bull continued this success in FP3, with Max Verstappen clocking in a 1:11.787, and Riccardo just barely beating that time by 0.001s. Behind them in third and fourth place were the Ferrari drivers, and behind them were unsurprisingly the Mercedes drivers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Valtteri Bottas<\/strong> locked up and went down the escape road in the first 15 minutes of the session. After the car was inspected in the pit lane, they decided to change the rear wing. Cameras did not catch all of it, but it was assumed that Bottas made contact with a wall.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fastest Car, Most Broken Car<\/h2>\n

With 8 minutes left in the practice session, Max Verstappen went hard into a wall in the swimming pool section. The car suffered considerable damage, including suspension damage. The session was red flagged immediately. Verstappen hit a wall on a turn, hopped over a huge kerb, then planted the right side of his car into a barrier.

All cars ran the new pink Hypersoft tyres during this session. The Hypersoft tyres made their debut this weekend at Monaco. <\/span><\/p>\n

Red Bull showed dominance in the first three sessions, but none of that matters once Qualifying starts later today. It\u2019s still in question if Verstappen\u2019s team can put Humpty Dumpty back together before the next session starts. <\/span><\/p>\n
