Corey Heim beat Grant Enfinger and Christian Eckes to score his fifth of sixth wins. Can Heim get over this “slump” he is on and get back into victory lane for his fifth win of 2025? Or will the field win it again like at Michigan?

With only 5 races before the Playoffs, every position matters. Only 66 points separate Stewart Friesen in tenth in points to Matt Crafton in fifteenth. Who can win their way into the chance to race for a champion? and who will be left disappointed?

Race Preview:

The MillerTech 200 at Pocono Raceway is a 80 lap race around the 2.5 mile race-track. The stage cautions will come on laps 20 and 40, with the checkered flag on 80. A total $782,900 makes up the purse for this race. Teams will have 5 sets of Goodyear tires for the race, 4 fresh tires and one set transferred from qualifying.

The Track: Pocono Raceway

Pocono Raceway, also known as “The Tricky Triangle” is a 2.5 mile superspeedway located in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. Unlike most ovals, Pocono features three unique turns. After traveling down the 3,740 foot long front straight, drivers will tackle the 14 degree turn one. Turn two is modelled after Indianapolis, with 8 degrees of banking. Finally, drivers will face turn three, modelled after the Milwaukee Mile, a turn with 6 degrees.

Elliott Sadler won the first Truck race at Pocono Raceway in 2010. Kyle Busch has the most wins at Pocono in a Truck with 3 wins. Sheldon Creed set the Truck track record in 2021, with a 53.609 second lap.

Craftsman Truck Series Point Standings:

Here are the point standings following the previous race at Michigan:

1. Corey Heim: 605
2. Chandler Smith: 472
3. Daniel Hemric: 454
4. Grant Enfinger: 441
5. Tyler Ankrum: 424
6. Layne Riggs: 424
7. Here are some drivers joining the regular Truck Series crowd. Brandon Jones is back in the #1 for TRICON Garage. Norm Benning will drive his #6 Chevrolet. Carson Hocevar returns for another race in the Truck Series, driving the #07 for Spire Motorsports. Connor Jones is in the #44 for Niece Motorsports. Luke Baldwin is back in the #66 Ford for Thorsport.

Read More: Carson Hocevar Faces Heavy Criticism After Wrecking Stenhouse At Nashville

When I look at winners at Pocono, I see a mix of experience and equipment. With three different turns, you need a good set-up to conquer the track. These drivers and teams I believe will have either the experience, the equipment, or both to win on Friday;

Grant Enfinger has yet to win in 2025, but was runner-up here last year and a top-five in 2023. Enfinger has the experience to get a win here, but will he have the truck to win? He is coming off a second place finish at Michigan two weeks ago, so he has momentum on his side.

Thorsport has had one truck that has had top-ten speed across the last three races at Pocono. Matt Crafton finished eighth last year, Majeski finished sixth in ’23 and seventh in ’22. If a Ford is going to win this race, look for them to come from the Thorsport stable.

Corey Heim is the Kyle Larson of the Truck Series. He is a contender to win week in and week out. While a chaotic Michigan relegated him to an 18th place finish, he led 29 laps. Heim is the defending race winner, and with even odds, I think Heim defends his win and gets win number five of the season.

How To Watch The Truck Series at Pocono Raceway:

Here is the schedule for Friday’s MillerTech 200 at Pocono:

Friday, June 20th:

Practice

12:30 PM Eastern

Coverage is on Fox Sports 2

Qualifying

1:40 PM Eastern

Coverage continues on FS2

The MillerTech 200:

5:00 PM Eastern

Coverage switches to Fox Sports 1.
